When it comes to how comfy to wear the Status Flagship ANC, they are very lightweight and super comfortable while wearing as well. There is thick memory foam that is upholstered in faux leather-like material padded to cover the earcups that give super softness for your ears.

The headband is quite easy to adjust and not stick. The adjustable headband gives more comfort to any head size. They are also thin-padded with the same material as the earcup and don’t heart your head.

In my private opinion, the Status Flagship ANC doesn’t have any issues while wearing them with glasses. The clamping force is not too much and not feel pain around the temples area. But this might not be for some people. That depends on the shape and size of your head. So, if you are those who always wear glasses and have a quite big head size, over-ear headphones maybe not be your answer.

The earcup is foldable, which easy for traveling and keeps less space in your bag.

The overall design is simple and nice in black tone. The design of the Flagship ANC model is very similar Core ANC model.

There are 2 buttons on the right earcup, the power button, and the ANC control button. The Status Flagship ANC headphones have three modes: active noise canceling, ambient sound, and normal listening. Just press the ANC button to swap these modes.

Touch Control

As I have already said, the Status Flagship ANC are intuitive touch control headphones, I can summarize the touch control system as

  • To play and pause music: double-tap at the center of the right cup
  • To change the track: swipe right to the next track/swipe left to the previous track
  • To control volume: swipe up to increase the volume/swipe down to decrease the volume
  • To access voice assistant: touch and hold on the center of the right earcup

Lows, Mids, and High

The bass is so accurate but not too deep. The mids are outstanding and well-balanced. The treble is not outstanding but decent enough. It’s crisp and detailed and the level of highs and lows is well-balanced. Sometimes I think of sitting in a great concert hall.

Noise Cancellation

The Status Flagship ANC is not the best noise-canceling headphones, they do so great. These ANC headphones can block low-frequency noise pretty well. The ambient noise is completely blocked. But I can still hear ringing when someone calls to me, which I consider good. The company claim that the Flagship ANC can reduce outside noise by up to 35 decibels, which I can’t tell if it’s true or not. However; I can feel the outside noise is a very little creep.

All in all, I was so impressed by the sound of the Status Flagship ANC. These ANC headphones under $150 deliver pretty good sound quality, they provide a mind-blowing stereo sound profile. Surely, they can’t beat the Bose QC45, Bose 700, or WH-1000XM4 of Sony because these headphones are more expensive around two times and better than in terms of ANC and built quality.

Build Quality

Most of the material is plastic, and for this reason, make these ANC headphones are so lightweight. Albeit they are made of mostly plastic, they are not easy to breakable. The company uses good plastic that is lightweight and durable enough. Unfortunately, the earpads are not replaceable. But most headphones are not changeable too, except for Beyerdynamic headphones, which are designed to change almost all parts.
