I have used two smartwatches before but never reviewed them. This is the first time I have written a smartwatch review. I got the Tozo S6 AMOLED smartwatch and tested it for about two weeks before start writing the review. How about the Tozo S6 AMOLED smartwatch, see the details in the review now.
The Tozo S6 smartwatch comes in good packaging, housed in a sturdy cardboard box. Inside, you’ll find the watch, with the strap separately placed in a smaller black box. You’ll need to assemble the case and strap yourself, but don’t worry—there are instructions in the manual, and it’s not too complicated.
The Tozo S6 AMOLED is a budget-friendly smartwatch with complete features for many activities and sports tracking. It’s black in design and features a sleek, and the looks are modern with a square shape and rounded edges. The design is simple yet stylish and black is suitable for both casual and more formal wear. Personal thinking, the external body looks is not outstanding and plain is similar to general smartwatches but when turned on the Tozo S6 smartwatch, the watch face is so beautiful.
I don’t know about body material but the strap is soft and comfortable. It’s lightweight rubber that makes the smartwatch lightweight and comfortable to wear on the wrist for all day.
First of all, you have to download the Tozo Health app and connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth
The display of the Tozo S6 is 1.85-inch AMOLED, which lets a vivid colorful, and beautiful watch face. I’m not disappointed, the outdoors under sunlight or in dark environments, the screen is still easy to read and clear. This lets me easily see the time, calories, steps, and battery status.
The default Tozo S6 provides five permanent pre-installed watch faces, which cannot be removed or changed. However, the app offers about 200 additional watch faces to choose from. It also includes three custom watch faces that allow you to use photos as watch faces.
Most watch faces typically show the time, date, and remaining battery. It has a simple, clear layout with large digits, making it easy to read. Additionally, it may display other information such as the day of the week, step count, distance, calories burned, weather, and more, depending on the watch face you select.
When it comes to fitness modes, the Tozo S6 offers over 100 sports modes that cover almost all activities, such as walking, running, cycling, badminton, and more. I don’t have to worry about excessive sweat during workouts because this smartwatch has an IP68 waterproof rating. While some people claim it can be worn while swimming, I haven’t tested that myself. However, I have tested the smartwatch while playing badminton for two hours daily over the course of a week, and I have to say, it’s very good. After finishing, I can check the exercise records, such as exercise duration, the number of calories burned, step count, heart rate, and more. The details of the exercise records vary depending on the sport mode.
One amazing feature of the Tozo S6 is its built-in GPS for route tracking while biking, walking, or running. I don’t need to carry a smartphone during these activities. This feature is especially convenient for outdoor workouts like walking or running, as the watch is much lighter and smaller than any smartphone.
The Tozo S6 is equipped with health monitoring and fitness-tracking features, including blood oxygen measurement, blood pressure, stress monitoring, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. These features do work, but I’m not sure about their accuracy. However, health monitoring features on any smartwatch aren’t always precise. These features generally provide rough measurements.
For the sleep monitoring feature, I tried wearing the watch while sleeping to analyze my sleep patterns. The watch automatically monitors and records my sleep stages, including deep, light, and REM sleep.
One thing that I so much like, the Tozo S6 keeps a history of health stats, allowing me to check health information for several months, possibly even over a year. That’s great.
Talking about the Tozo S6’s battery life, I’m really impressed. The Tozo S6’s battery life is better than many smartwatches in the market. After I got the watch, I wore it every day for six days before needing to charge it again. According to the company, the Tozo S6 provides up to 10 days of battery life. However, I think the battery life depends on individual usage, which may vary. Factors like the brightness of the watch face, frequency of exercise detection, sleep, and health tracking can all affect battery life. Overall, in real-world use, the Tozo S6 offers 6 to 10 days of battery life depending on usage.
This affordable smartwatch lasts longer than many other brands and allows me to track my health and fitness without having to recharge the battery every day or so.
For the full charging duration, the Tozo S6 takes around 1 hour from 17% to 100%. This is speedy charging.
Once I pair and connect the watch to my smartphone, it automatically receives messages from apps like Line and phone messages. I can also see missed calls on the smartwatch. These features are standard, just like other smartwatches, so they’re not particularly outstanding.
When you receive a call, the watch vibrates and plays a ringtone. You can answer the call via the watch, but the sound quality for both talking and listening is poor. The voice is distorted and unpleasant. For calls, I recommend using a smartphone instead.
The Tozo S6 is equipped with a “Find Your Phone” feature, which allows you to easily locate your smartphone. When using this feature, your smartphone will ring.
I consider the Tozo S6 to have an excellent user interface design. It’s intuitive, featuring a combination of touchscreen control, a multifunction button, and a rotating knob for navigation. The touch screen makes it easy, precise, and smooth interaction even though my finger is a little sweaty during working out. After using it for a while, you’ll get used to it and come to like it, just like I did. The clever user interface design of the Tozo S6 smartwatch, it’s intuitive and allows me to easily navigate through functions and settings. It’s straightforward.
