Tozo Crystal Buds review: One of the cheap wireless earbuds with a great and unique design. They provide up to 8 hours for a single charge on earbuds and give up to 35 to 40 hours of playtime, including the charging case. Besides, it comes with a fast charge feature and supports wireless charging as well. An IPX7 waterproof rating makes these wireless earbuds great for outdoor activities and working out. The sound quality and call quality are good and better than many other wireless earbuds at this price tag.
Tozo Crystal Buds

Tozo is a world-class consumer electronics brand that is very well-accepted in terms of cheap and decent-quality products. Readers would have well known some of Tozo’s products, such as the Tozo T6, Tozo T12, and Tozo NC9 wireless earbuds. Those items that I mentioned are very popular and are on Amazon’s best-seller list. Besides wireless earbuds, Tozo has other products like speakers, power banks, watches, and wireless chargers. Today Tozo just released new wireless earbuds, which have a stylish and unique design. The Tozo Crystal Buds wireless earbuds, or formal model, is the Tozo T18. Before introducing each other more, go to the Tozo Crystal Buds review as well. Let’s follow me.
The charging case is very unique and different from other general wireless earbuds. Crystal Buds’s charging case has a top lid that is transparent and a crystal style, which is a very special design. I so much like this design, which is distinguishable from general wireless earbuds. It looks cool and has a new design, giving it a sophisticated impression.
The Tozo Crystal Buds are quite mini, both the case and the earbuds. The lid is made of acrylic and feels smooth on the hands. As for the earbuds themselves, their ergonomic design makes them very comfortable, and they can securely fit pretty well in my ears. The earbuds and grooves in the charging case are attracted by the magnet, making them fit into the charging grooves well and tight. The back of the buds has a white TOZO logo, which seamlessly contrasts with the black of the buds.
On the front side of the charging case, white LED lights display the battery status for both the charging case and the earbuds.
The Tozo T18 is a touch control system, and each earbud is sensitive for touching and quickly operates the main function. You can control the volume, playtime control, and call control by touching the earbuds.
The Tozo Crystal Buds wireless earbuds are IPX7-rated, which is almost completely waterproof. With this technology, the Tozo Crystal Buds can withstand heavy rain and a lot of sweat while working out intensively.
There are smart LED digital screens that let you check the remaining battery of the earbuds and their charging case in real time. The LED digital is placed on the front, which is not the same as the Tozo Gloden X1 (the LED digit is placed inside the case). The charging case has a 470 mAh capacity and provides playtime of up to 35 to 40 hours. For a single charge, the earbuds can provide you with up to 8 to 9 hours, depending on the loudness of the volume level. The playtime is not accurate; however, the Tozo Crystal Buds provide playtime for more than 6 hours continuously, of course.
The charging case can support two ways of charging: one is a USB type C cable, and the second is wireless charging.
Tozo is a reliable brand and expert in truly wireless earbuds; most are affordable and not too expensive. The Tozo Crystal Buds model is as well; it comes with Bluetooth 5.3, delivering stable connectivity and providing a low-latency listening experience. These cheap wireless earbuds support standard Bluetooth profiles such as HSP, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, etc.
Each earbud is equipped with a tuning hole that lets air flow into the sound cavity for better acoustic sound performance. They give a treble dynamic and deep bass. The lows, mids, and highs are well-balanced. The bass is not too overwhelming, but you can hear drum rhythms that hit deep. The highs and mids are not too prominent and produce a sound that is well-balanced enough. All in all, the Tozo Crystal Buds’ sound quality is quite good and makes me quite impressed.
Besides, if you do not prefer the original sound of the Tozo T18 wireless earbuds, you can use EQ options via the app. They give an amazing customized experience through the Tozo app.
When it comes to calling quality, the Tozo Crystal Buds have two microphones on each bud. The AI algorithm called noise reduction can drown out the outside noise and boost your voice, making your calls more effective. So the microphone for the call is very good. With the ergonomic design and the ear tips that perfectly fit in my ears, it can block out nearly all background noise, making me hear voices clearly, and there is no lag (thanks to Bluetooth 5.3).
