Tozo PA2 Review: Are you seeking an affordable, good-quality portable speaker? The Tozo PA2 is a cheap Bluetooth speaker with good sound quality. It gives a deep bass and a loud stereo sound. The speaker provides a long-lasting battery and up to 25 hours of playtime. This is perfect for outdoor use due to its IPX8 waterproof rating and portable design.

Some still don’t know and think Tozo’s products are only headphones. Tozo has very successful wireless in-ear headphones, such as the Tozo T10 or Tozo T12, and many wireless earbuds, which are selling well and are on the best-sellers list on Amazon.com. Today we are talking about a cheap portable Bluetooth speaker with great quality and good material, including the good sound quality of the Tozo PA2 Bluetooth speaker. In the last few days, I’ve gotten Tozo PA2 in black. It looks good and has a weight that makes it feel quality. Don’t worry about the Tozo PA2 review. Although I received support for this product from the company, I confirm that the Tozo PA2 review I am writing will be the truth and honestly no exaggeration.
The external design is different from the previous model, PA1. The Tozo PA2 is a portable speaker, shaped like a cylindrical water bottle. The size of the speaker can be held in one hand and is more convenient with a lanyard (included in the box). It’s easily portable, no matter the attachment to the backpack. The weight is not too much—just 16 ounces or 0.5kg (approximately).
The Tozo’s logo is on the front and both sides of the cylindrical. All control buttons are placed on the back (opposite the Tozo logo at the front). You can control playback, volume up/down, Bluetooth pairing, EQ function, and power on/off on the control panel on the speaker. Personally, I find the control buttons quite stiff. It takes a fair amount of force to get them to work as we want them to. This is one disadvantage that I feel.
The material is Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and is wrapped in beautiful mesh fabric around the speaker.
At first touch, its weight is enough and strong. The speaker has an IPX8 waterproof rating. So you can take the Tozo PA2 to outdoor activities like pool parties, walking on the beach, and even showering without worrying about damage. One point I’m curious about is that the charging port doesn’t have a rubber cover or anything to cover it. If the charge port gets wet with oil, will it be damaged? That’s what I wonder. Even though I have seen on YouTube that water is used to pour on speakers, it still works normally. But I’m still not sure about durability for a long time.
When talking about the battery life, I have to say it’s uncertain. In my experience, the Tozo PA2 provides 10 to 12 hours of playtime (approximately). All in all, the battery life depends on the volume level. I’d listen to music, podcasts, and YouTube with the Tozo PA2 at a 50% volume level. The company claims the speaker provides 25 hours of battery life. I think the volume level should be 25% or less to meet that. However, you can use it while charging.
While charging, you will see the red LED light aside from the charging port light up. After charging is complete, the red light will turn off. The charging time is around 2.5 to 3 hours for a full charge (when the battery is nearly empty or less than 10%). The one good thing that I noticed is that if no Bluetooth device is connected for 5 minutes (approximately), then the speaker will automatically turn off. This helps to save the battery.
The PA2 utilized Bluetooth 5.3, which is a fast and stable connection. It’s easy to connect, open the speaker (press and hold the power button), and go to the Bluetooth setting on your devices (smartphone, laptop, or any Bluetooth device). Find the PA2 or select “Add New.”. Then select PA2 and connect.
If you are searching for great sound in a compact speaker, the Tozo PA2 is one of the best options. It is a budget-friendly Bluetooth speaker with good sound quality. It provides a big and loud sound with a 16-watt power output. The dual passive radiators and drivers deliver booming bass that you can feel. The bass is decent and impactful, but not overwhelming or too strong, but enough to enjoy the rhythm of the music. The mids and highs are crisp and well-balanced. The cymbal’s sound is so clear. The vocals are clear in both men’s and women’s voices. Although the PA2 does not produce an excellent sound like a more expensive speaker such as the JBL Charge 5 portable Bluetooth speaker, it makes you enjoy music at home.
The sound stage is quite wide, especially the bass. The vocals are out in front, but the bass is out on both sides. The Tozo PA2 is also connected to two speakers for an immersive stereo sound experience and enhanced bass. Let you and your friends have more fun at the party.
The Tozo PA2 also supports the Tozo app. In the app, you can choose EQ presetting from 16 sound profiles. Besides, you can customize the sound profile and save it for the future too.
The Tozo PA2 is not the best portable speaker, but all in all, it is one of the best budget-friendly Bluetooth speakers that produces good sound quality.

Pros
Cons
Overall, I am quite happy with the Tozo PA2 and its affordable price. It delivers exceptional sound performance, good battery life, a solid feel, and is durable. It’s also portable; it’s not too heavy, and its size can be held in one hand. There is nothing perfect; these cheap portable speakers don’t support SD cards or USB thumb drives. So, the only way you can listen to music on it is via a Bluetooth connection.
Thank you for reading the Tozo PA2 review, and I hope this content will be useful for your decision-making.
