Wireless earbuds with good sound quality as well as being very inexpensive are desired by music lovers like us. If your key points are long playtime, can work as an emergency power bank for your electronic devices, completely waterproof, comfortable fit, lightweight design, good sound quality, and important key points are cheap. The Tribit FlyBuds 3 wireless earbuds would be an excellent answer. I have good experience with the previous model, Tribit Flybuds C2 wireless earbuds. The Tribit Flybuds 3 is also as well, which give me impressive in term of battery life and pretty design. Are you ready to dig into the detail? Let’s go to the Tribit Flybuds 3 review right now.
Beautiful looks are individual feelings that are probably not the same. Personally, the Tribit Flybuds 3 wireless earbuds are simple beauty. Both the charging case and earbuds are the same color. There are three colors available (at the time I was writing a review): black, pink, and white. Each earbud is very lightweight, just 10g.
The case is quite larger than others that have been tested. The case body is a rounded rectangle and flip-top. The exterior of the charging case is slippery and made of polished plastic.
There are four white dots LED lights on the front of the Tribit’s case. These can indicate the battery remaining in the case. Next down is the USB-C charging port and USB-A for topping up the power to your smartphones or other electronic devices that use a USB charging port. Both ports are covered with a rubber plate to prevent dust and water. Next left, there is the original button, which can use for indicator battery voltage (short press), re-paring mode (press and hold for 10 secs), and activate the output power function to other devices (normal single press).
The touch area is on the outside of the buds. This touch control can do something but not all.
A bit pitty, there is no volume control and next/previous track. But at this price, it’s acceptable.
The company gives six pairs of silicone tips in the package and also provides three separate ear fins pairs. All that let you can customizable fit your ears. If you just choose the right size of silicone tips and ear fins, it will help to disperse pressure and ensure wearing comfort. Just choose the perfect size to ensure the earbuds will not fall out and you can move as you want. As well as it can block out the external noise around you very well too and lets the sound better.
The Tribit Flybuds 3 are completely waterproof wireless earbuds. IPX8 rated means it can submerge into the water, up to 1 meter. So the earbuds can wash with water, can withstand sweaty from intense exercise, or even stay in heavy rain as well. There is no mention of the waterproofing of the charging case. And I daren’t test the charging case in the water. Ha ha, I’m afraid it’s damaged and also don’t want to buy it again.
The Tribit Flybuds 3 utilized Bluetooth 5.0 technology. The connectivity strength is just moderate, Bluetooth working range is around 10 meters or 33 feet without physical obstructions. The working range will reduce if have something blocking between earbuds and your source device. The Flybuds 3 only support SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. Unfortunately, there is no supporting aptX and LDAC codec. But at this price, we do not expect these.
As for automatically paired and connected, they are like most other wireless earbuds. They will automatically connect to the lasted Bluetooth devices when open the lid of the charging case.
For a single charge on earbuds, the Flybuds 3 provides only 5 hours. I think it is a bit less but can accept it. But when talking about the charging case, it’s very good. The charging case has a capacity 2600 mAh rechargeable battery and can top up to the earbuds up to 20 times. Yes, it’s unbelievable, budget-friendly wireless earbuds under $40 provide up to 100 hours of playtime. However; the results will vary on the volume levels. Once the earbuds come to a low battery, the low battery warning would sound and then you should return them to the case for recharging again.
With built-in 2600 mAh and a USB charge-out port therefore the case can charge your mobile phone. This is another good feature we rarely found in cheap wireless earbuds.

When it comes to sound efficiency, overall they are really good. The Tribit Flybuds 3 deliver enough bass and great mids as well as crisp and snappy high. Great for general listeners, not for high-end. Surely, can’t expect high-end sound quality at this price. The Tribit Flybuds 3 is not except too. This differs from Tozo Gloden X1 that I own, which delivers very good sound quality and feels like I’m sitting in a concert. That’s my feeling.
All in all, the sound quality is good and fair its price. The Tribit Flybuds 3 wireless earbuds are good for general use listening to music.
