35 hours of playtime, mode: gaming/transparent/sleep, wireless charging
Ever since Anker released its Soundcore series of audio products, they have impressed us with their continually top quality and low prices. The new product from Sound Core is the Life P3 earbuds, wireless earbuds under 100 that push this value equation even further with ANC and wireless charging – 2 features that normally appear on buds that cost double as much. In this Anker Soundcore Life P3 review will check, is the Soundcore Life P3 look on paper? Let’s check them out.
The Life P3 sport is a similar stem design to the Liberty Air 2 buds. There’s a tiny, stylized “d” mark on the side of the buds, with an elegant matte finish on a majority of them with a bright plastic exterior on the sides. The Soundcore Life P3 is available in five colors for summer – coral red, sky blue, classic black, oat white, and navy blue.
The earbuds themselves look rather very playful and small earbuds. The upper part and stems are made from glossy plastic with delicate brighter, even brighter sides. On the outsides, there is a black inlay and another matte inlay on the up portion. These earbuds are quite comfortable, with oval parts that sink into your ears smoothly and make for a comfortable fit – more so than the premium and bulkier Liberty Air 2 Pro buds.
They sit tight enough for workouts and runs – helped further by the IPX 5 water-resistant rate, meaning they withstand sweat and rain.
The Anker Sound Core Life P3 has great connectivity. The buds pair and connect fast once you open the charging case and remain strong Bluetooth connectivity up to 10 meters away from your device. Hiccups in the connectivity and sound are extremely rare, and it is possible to switch between listening to 1 or 2 buds at all times. Music does not automatically pause when you take an earbud out.
Standard controls of the buds are convenient and simple:
While this mightn’t look like much, you can still change every control and add a touch command for one tap on either side as well – so it is also possible to add complete track controls, voice assistant, and volume controls. But, it is not possible to activate the gaming mode from the buds though. The earbuds also respond rapidly to a one-tap so that you might activate an unwanted action now and then. Still controls options are remarkable like Life P2.
The sound quality is very good with strong bass and the mid and highs come through clear and loud. The sound performance is not quite at the level of the Air Pro 2 buds, which provides you with even clearer sound and decent separation of the instruments. Though, without having the Air Pro 2 earbuds handy to directly compare to the Anker Life P3, I’d likely be really happy with the Sound Core Life P3.
The ANC is also efficient, letting me listen to a podcast while on my riding lawnmower. I can still hear the lawnmower’s engine through the buds, but the sound level is greatly decreased, letting me hear my podcast. Like a few other sound core buds, you can pick from transport. Outdoors or indoors ANC setting, lets you adapt the feature to your environment.
With 6 microphones, these are the best earbuds for phone calls. Outdoors, there were no dropouts. And during the call, your call can listen to a crisp and clear voice without any distortion unwanted distortion. At price under 100, this is the best earbud I have come across when it comes to quality, and I am very satisfied with its microphone performance.
The Sound Core Life P3 earbuds can achieve up to 7hrs of playtime, with the charging case providing additional charges for a total of almost 35hrs of playback before the charging case needs to recharge again. The case can be recharged through Qi wireless charging or USB type C.

Pros
Cons
The conclusion of my Soundcore Life P3 review – The Anker Sound Life P3 is a slightly cheaper alternative to Liberty Air Pro 2 with some added functions such as buds location feature and gaming mode. The sound performance of the Life P3 does not quite match the Air Pro 2 but should satisfy most listeners.
