Black Shark Lucifer T1
in-ear, Bluetooth 5.2 (Bluetooth range 10m), dual-mode: games/music, water-resistant: IPX4, low-latency: 45ms for gaming mode, touch control, dynamic light effect, built-in microphone
In the world of gaming, gaming mouse, gaming keyboards, and joysticks are essential for PC or laptop gaming. But no whether you play games on PCs, laptops, or smartphones, wireless gaming earbuds, or wireless gaming over-ear headphones are devices should have for gamers. At least gaming headphones keep you in the world game and do not disturb people around. One of the wireless earbuds for gaming, which are cheap and quite popular, is Black Shark Lucifer T1. It is one of the cheap wireless gaming earbuds, just only around 40 dollars. Black Shark is a subbrand of Xiaomi, a Chinese tech giant company. This Black Shark Lucifer T1 review will tell you about the details of these cheap wireless earbuds for gaming, good things, and drawbacks. How are they in terms of value for money? let’s go.
At first glance, the Lucifer T1 earphones are a unique design, a heptagon shape charging case with green illuminate light. The lids open from the top like shells. And I like its translucent lid that can look through the lid inside and relish the RGB light while charging the case. The earbuds have a triangle shape and green LED lights as well. The illuminated LED on the case and earbuds are cool. That makes the earbuds easier to find if dropped in the dark. Besides, there is also a print of Black Shark branding on the back of the stem earbuds. The overall design is in the style of gaming headphones. The material looks durable and is not likely to break easily. They are well made.
There are three spare pairs of silicone tips in different sizes in the package, let you can find which fits you best. More tight seal lead to more good sound quality and noise isolation. They are IPX4 waterproof rating, which means you can wear these buds for exercise, but not intensive exercises. The Black Shark Lucifer T1 can withstand sweat and a bit of splash.
The Black Shark Lucifer T1’s charging case is light and compact. Their weight (charging case and earbuds) is just around 3.52 ounces. That’s easy to put in your pocket.
The Black Shark Lucifer T1 is provided for up to 35 hours including its charging case. Only the earbuds give you up to 3.5 hours on a single charge. Personally, 3.5 hours is a bit less for gaming but not too bad. If you are looking for wireless gaming earbuds that come with continuous playtime more than this, I recommend Tozo G1 (6 hours for a single charge) or Anker Sound VR P10 ( 6 hours for a single charge as well).
I’m not sure about that the total battery life can reach 35 hours or not. I do have not the patience to test the battery till to its limit.
For charing the case, you can do it through the USB type C port, which is placed on the back of the case.
These affordable wireless earbuds for gaming utilized Bluetooth 5.2 and are easily paired and connected. Just take out the wireless earbuds from the case, and the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device. The connection is pretty strong and has no trouble with lost signal even if you leave your smartphone in the living room while you walk to another room. However standard work range of the earbuds is 10 meters, in this range, you will get a strong signal and no hiccup signal.
When talking about call quality, the Lucifer T1 provides decent call quality. But the sound may seem a little distant, I think it is due to the microphones being far from the mouth. However; I can hear and understand all words that the people on the other end talk.
The Lucifer T1 has dual mode features: music and gaming mode. Just triple tap either earbud will switch between music and gaming mode. To be honest, I’m not very impressed in terms of the music’s sound quality. But can accept when compared to its price, which are cheap wireless earbuds for gaming. I’ve listened to music with the Sony WF-1000XM3 before, which is very different from the Black Shark Lucifer T1. You shouldn’t highly expect the music sound quality from them. They are just can be listening to music but not impressive. The bass is not thumping (just good for the price), the mids are just so-so, and the highs are not too sharp.
But the good thing is when you switch to the gaming mode, the sound and picture game is not delayed, with low latency (just around 45 to 55ms). Makes you play games with pleasure. They are perfect for many games where you need to hear footsteps and sound effects but everything sounds are like cold because of the sound lackluster bass response.

Pros
Cons
Before to end of the Black Shark Lucifer T1 review, these wireless earbuds are cheap and of good decent quality. For wireless earbuds for gaming, the Black Shark Lucifer T1 is okay for playing games in this price range. While their use for listening to music is not so good, not excellent but can listen to music. The design with LED lights will let you feel excited while playing games and bring you a fascinating gaming atmosphere. The one drawback that is obvious, the continuous playtime is too short, just 3.5 hours not enough for playtime games or even listening to music for me.
