Wireless earbuds with charging cases have seen rapid growth in the last decade. But not all brands will succeed. High competition in this line makes a lot of new wireless earbuds, and many brands are not well known. Donerton is one of the new brands with quite a good Amazon sale. The Donerton is not only selling wireless earbuds. The company still has a wide range of products available on Amazon, such as smart watches, gaming headsets, sport wireless earbuds with ear hooks, and mini portable Bluetooth speakers. Why did I pick the Donerton I09 wireless earbuds to review today? Because it’s cheap and has many good features. How? Let’s go dig into the details of the Donerton I09 review now.
In terms of external design, I just say that plain. Nothing is amazing and chic about it, like other general wireless earbuds. The overall design is very similar to Motast I09. The charging case is a rounded rectangular box, not thick. There is a dual-power display on the charging case. You can get battery status in real-time (for both the earbuds and the charging case).
The earbuds’ housing is mostly made of plastic. It feels very light in weight and has a glossy finish covering the touch control area on the outside of both earbuds. One thing that makes the earbuds stand out is that the outer earbuds have a ring of blue LED lights, which look beautiful and have a unique style.
The touch area is placed on the outside of each earbud. You can control your music playback, answer/end/reject calls, volume up/down, and activate a voice assistant. The control scheme is easy, but if you use a single earbud, you can’t completely control the volume. Because one side is for up volume and another for down volume.

The Donerton I09 is designed for sports, water sports, and outdoor activities. They are fit and firm in your ears. Besides, the earbuds are IPX7 waterproof. This means it can be immersed in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without suffering any damage. Whether you are wearing them for jogging, running, playing gym, cycling, yoga, or sports, the Donerton I09 resists a lot of sweat during these activities.
The Donerton I09 wireless earbuds are great for your long trip. They have a built-in solid battery that offers you up to 140 hours of playtime with their charging case. For a single charge, the earbuds can provide up to 5–6 hours. Fast charging is available; in just 10 minutes, you will get 60 minutes additional.
I think the battery is the great thing and strength point of the Donerton I09. 140 hours is a very long time for your long flight. If you are looking for small, portable wireless earbuds for long flights or long hours on the train, the Donerton I09 is a great choice. It’s very cheap, too.
As I said in several previous earbud reviews, most cheap wireless earbuds often provide not-so-good sound quality. Most of these can listen to music, audiobooks, podcasts, calls, or any media, but you should not expect outstanding sound quality from them. The Donerton I09 wireless earbuds also have mediocre sound quality.
You will feel that the sound is crisp and clear, and the bass is a good response but you can’t be compared to some much more expensive wireless earbuds like the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC (ANC & LDAC wireless earbuds) or Technics EAH-AZ60M2 HiFi wireless earbuds.
However, these cheap wireless earbuds get a high rating on Amazon’s review. That’s why I think it is very cheap and has good all-around features.
