Sony MDR-ZX110 Review: Cheap on-ear headphones with in-line remote control. Built-in quality microphones for hands-free calls. The sound quality is decent for this price tag. The built quality is not too durable, but they are worth their price due to the sound being decent and modest durability.
Sony MDR-XZ110
On-the-Ear/Swivel design, lightweight, Extra Bass Smartphone Headset with Mic, Free SmartKey App for customized in-line remote function
Let’s dive in and take a close look at Sony’s ZX series especially Sony MDRZX110 stereo headphones with MIC. At first glance, the headphones look very professional. These headphones seem like they cost a fortune when really they’re very well competitively valued.
Many other brands of headphones on the market range anywhere from <$100, <$200, and <$300. Guess! how much does the Sony MDRZX110 headphones cost? Under 30 USD, yes that’s a correct, extremely affordable pair of headphones at the rate of half tank of gas. Don’t be fooled by the low rate, this MDRZX110 is packed with a punch and has super quality sound quality.
The Sony MDRZX100 wired on-ear headphones are available in black, rose, and white. Also, they are quite lightweight, just 4.8 ounces.
Not just is the sound quality super but MDRZX110 is very comfortable to wear. They sit perfectly on the ear almost like EAR-MITS. The Sony MDRZX110 headphones are designed to swivel when folding, this makes the item extremely compact for portability.
The swivel look also lets you fold the headphone to several different angles for you to enjoy the music in several more ways than one. Here is a plus cable on Sony MDRZX110 that is tangle-free, which means no more having to continually unravel cords or untie knots that forever look to form unexpectedly.
One more plus with Sony MDRZX110 is that it comes with a MIC. This is very helpful when listening and responding to cell phone calls on your PC or mobile.
In terms of Sony MDRZX110’s sound quality, These Sony on-ear headphones provide a wide frequency range (spanning 12 Hz to 22 kHz), which can deliver deep bass, rich midrange, and soaring highs. However; you should not expect they are excellent sound, but they still offer decent sound for these cheap headphones.
Pros
Cons
Sony MDRZX110 might look fine and carry forward the usual aesthetic that makes Sony the main headphone choice, but it falls a little short in terms of build quality. It feels a bit cheap and we were forever worried about damage during our test time with the review unit.
