Soundcore VR P10 review: Offer super low latency less than 30ms. They can connect to two devices at the same time. The sound quality for music is just moderate and lacks bass but the sound of gaming is very great. Plus the great feature set and customizing via the Soundcore app make these wireless gaming earbuds have many great features. Their looks and feel are beautiful gaming earbuds.
Anker Soundcore VR P10 – Wireless Gaming Earbuds
form factor: in-ear, <30ms low latency, dual connection, switch between dongles, Bluetooth, USB-C dongle, 2.4GHz wireless, compatible: Meta/Oculus Quest 2/PS4/PS5/PC/Nintendo Switch, playtime: 6 hours (single charge)/24 hours (with charging case), pass-through charging, support LC3 codec, water-resistant: IPX4
Anker Soundcore is successful in the fields of true wireless earbuds and over-ear headphones. They have several items that are very in favor of many people. New innovative audio product from Anker Soundcore, VR P10 special design to meet the need of Meat Quest 2 users. Besides, Soundcore VR P10 is still truly wireless earbuds that are made curated for gamers and compatible with PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC as well. There are several features of the VR P10 to justify this claim which is said to have the backing of Meta. Don’t waste your time, go to check the detail of the Soundcore VR P10 review right now.
When it comes to the design of earbuds with long moderate stems, and glossy white. When the earbuds stay in your ears, noticeable that the flat stem extends downward but not too much. The Soundcore VR P10 is lightweight until seemingly weightless, which is comfortable for a long gaming session wearing.
The exteriors of the earpieces, the body is silver-color and there is a Soundcore logo and a set of three RGB LEDs on both stems. The three RGB LEDs are pink-purple by default, but it customizable via the Soundcore app or turn off all of them is can.
Likewise other general wireless earbuds, the Soundcore provides 3 sets of ear tips and a different size in the box. Let’s find the best fit comfortable for your ears.
The Soundcore VR P10 is not designed for sports, even if they have come with IPX4 water-resistant rating. But they can still secure fit enough for walks around in the park or do light exercise that does not sweat too much.
The charging case is round and the lid is open from the top like a clam. It’s a matte white. The VR P10’s charging case is different from anything that we have really seen from the Soundcore. in the past, you got your Soundcore logo right there in the middle, and then down towards to bottom you got some RGB lighting to give it that gaming inspired look on the bottom. You got the type C charging support and then over on the back you have your Bluetooth pairing button.
So like I said, these are gaming earbuds, and they with a dongle that you can use to get a high-speed wireless connection which is going to give you performance with latency as low as 30 ms. So virtually no lag when it comes to using that dongle with your gaming. Hence, the case actually has a magnetic portion in the like where you can store the dongle and it works very well to keep the USB-C dongle nice and secure so you don’t have to worry about losing it whenever you are on the go.
I will see that when it’s time to remove the dongle depending on the size of your finger, it is quite tight and can be a little challenging to get out. It’s not impossible and it does help when you remove the actual earbuds as well but it can take a second or two. So I do feel like that is worth mentioning.
They do also have some RGB lighting features on the outside which is definitely really cool again giving it that futuristic. Gaming-inspired looks and you can actually customize the color and the effect of the lighting within the Soundcore app. You can set it to blue, pink, or purple. Design, you can choose to have it kind of flashing or can have it on just constantly. however; if you want to conserve battery life, you can simply turn it off. That’s a really cool effect and again it just gives it that very gaming-inspired look.
Also, the earbuds come with a feature touch control and let you customize the configuration of the controls within the Soundcore app as far as battery life.
The app also has a feature called super hearing, which enhances the sound of those little details like you know, footsteps and things like that. This helps you slight competitive advantage over somebody’s creeping up behind you. So this is definitely another really cool feature.
The Anker Soundcore VR P10 gives 6 hours of gaming continuous for a single charge, which is not too less in my personal thinking. The charging case provides additional 18 hours which means it can top up the power to the earbuds 3x. Keep in mind that the case doesn’t have an IP rating and can’t get it wet.
So as far as the type C dongle, like I said you can use this with multiple types of devices whether it’s the Meta Quest 2. You can use the Soundcore VR P10 with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, or PC.
Personally tested this out with my PS4 and in order to use this eye did need a USB type C to type adapter that you can find on Amazon for a couple of bucks, which works really well. After using the adapter, I just plug it into my PS4 and the earbuds instantly connected. That are really cool things. If you have multiple devices, and multiple consoles and want to have a dedicated dongle for each device, you can purchase the additional dongles from Soundcore.
In the Soundcore app, you can control which dongle you are connected to. That is easy to switch from Nintendo Switch to PlayStation 5, all you have to do is pull out the app go in there and choose which one you want to connect to. That is definitely really cool. Another thing that I really like is you have passed through charging with the dongle as well. So if you have this plugged into your Playstation 5 but you need to plug in your controller at the same time you have a type C input on the back side of the dongle and you can plug your controller into the back side to charge up the controller at the exact time.
Besides, these also allow you to be connected using the dongle as well as Bluetooth simultaneously. If you are using these to play your favorite game and all of a sudden you happen to get a phone call. You can still handle the call at the same time and it actually has a feature called game and talk that will basically lower the volume of your gameplay so that you can clearly hear the person that you talking to. That means you don’t even necessarily have to pause the game. You can continue playing and the volume of the gameplay will be much lower but you can still kind of hear enough to still be in tune with what’s going on. At the same time, you can still hold a conversation. I have tested it with my friend and it works really well.

Features: true wireless earbuds, active noise-canceling (adjustable and up to 30dB of noise reduction):, Bluetooth 5.0, customizable tab control, sweat and splash-proof: IPX4, support wireless charging, 4 different size ear tips, 3EQ setting
The Soundcore VR P10 doesn’t have active noise-canceling or anything like that. But I will see that with the right size ear tips. You do get a pretty good amount of passive noise cancellation. Make sure you test out the different sizes. You have small, medium, and large included inside of the box. The medium size to just fine for me, on the other hand, there are also very comfortable and they stay in place very well.
The Soundcore VR P10 gaming wireless earbuds use 11mm drivers and they sound great. I mean typical core sound. However; you can choose all the different EQ presets within the Soundcore app. The Anker Soundcore VR P10 wireless earbuds are not quite as loud. This is one of the cons of the VR P10. But it can still use for listening to music but lacks strong bass.
These are not quite as loud. So that’s probably the main difference that I would point out. They have issues punch in terms of bass but also some very clean detailed trouble. So that definitely gaming first, and sound quality second.
Pros
Cons
These are an excellent option for those of you that take gaming seriously again ultra-low latency. And as usual, you are getting an amazing experience when it comes to the Soundcore app. Really good sound quality and just really good sound performances across the board.
