Ailihen C8 Review – Best Kids Headphones

Ailihen C8 Review – Final words

AILIHEN C8 Review: The Ailihen C8 is one of the best cheap headphones, and the sound quality is pretty good for this price. The design includes foldable earcups for easy travel. They have an adjustable hinge, and the headband is also adjustable. The C8 also comes with soft padding earcups. It is widely compatible with several devices, such as laptops, PCs, Chromebooks, smartphones, MP3, MP4, and other audio devices. To sum up, this is worthwhile for this price point.

Ailihen C8

collapsible earcups, hands-free talking & volume control, built-in mic, 3.5mm gold-plated jack, adjustable headband, soft padding earcups, long cord (47″), in-line remote (play/pause/volume)

Are you searching for kids’ headphones with decent quality and sound at a very cheap price? The Ailihen C8 might be a good option. These on-ear headphones are available in several vivid colors, and you can buy the Ailihen C8 for a price below $20. If you would like to learn more about these cheap on-ear headphones, try to check out the details in this Ailihen C8 review.

Ailihen C8 Review – How about Design and Build Quality?

These are wired headphones, not wireless. The main body is plastic and looks beautiful. It’s bright, lightweight, and cute, which makes it ideal for buying Ailihen C8 for children. If you do not like plain colors such as white or black, the Ailihen C8 is available in 11 colors such as orange, green, pink, rose, and more.

These cheap on-ear headphones are also designed to be collapsible, which makes them easy to take on the go. The headband is adjustable, which helps it make a perfect fit. The cable is not simple plastic; the Ailihen C8 provides a braided nylon cable, 3.5 mm but is undetachable. However, it is stronger and more stylish than a simple plastic wire.

Because the main structure is plastic, the C8 is very lightweight, at just 181 grams. But on the other hand, this is not quite a durable headphone; it can break easily if dropped. At this price, I know you shouldn’t expect durability and solidity. However, if you use it carefully, it’s also a fairly long-lasting pair of headphones.

As mentioned before, the Ailihend C8’s build quality is also pretty cheap. Even though the parts look like metal, they are not. The fact is that it is painted plastic to look like metal. Even though the housing is plastic, I feel that it is quite good plastic.

The comfortable of these best kids headphones

Both earcups are padded with soft memory foam, offering comfy ears. Plus, they are lightweight, which does not make you feel heavy on your head when wearing the Ailihen C8 for hours.

The headband is adjustable to fit the head’s size. However, one of the drawbacks is that the headband is not padded with soft material; in fact, it is not padded with anything. So, you may feel uncomfortable with your head if you wear it for a long time. For me, I wear the Ailihen C8 for not more than one hour and have to take it off to rest my head.

Almost forget! These cheap on-ear headphones are not ideal for those who wear glasses. They are quite clamped and cause some painful pressure points on the ears.

How do these cheap headphones deliver sound quality?

Of course, the sound quality is not quite good. Especially if you’re an avid music listener, the Ailihen C8 is not ideal for you. However, it is pretty good for headphones under $20. The sound quality is not good but not too bad when compared to their price. The bass is mediocre, not deep, and not so strong. The vocals are clear but not very crystal. They are not as completely blocking outside noise as the company’s advertisement. You can still hear the environment’s noise; however, that depends on the head’s size. The Ailihen C8 headphones have a driver size of only 40mm, so if you have a big head or big ears, these cheap headphones might not be for you. But some say that the C8 can block external sound very well; I think those listeners have a head that isn’t that big.

To sum up, you should not expect too much from the sound quality of these cheap on-ear headphones. As I talked about before, the Ailihen C8 is great for children since they are not focused on audio quality, but they prefer bright color.

Ailihen C8 – Best Kids Headphones Review – Final Verdict

All in all, according to the Ailihen C8 review, they do not deliver great sound quality like some other more expensive headphones like the Monoprice BT-600ANC or even the OneOdio A71 studio recording headphones. However, these cheap on-ear headphones are worthwhile for kids or some adults who are not audiophiles. They have soft earpads, although the headband is pretty hard because there is no padding under the headband. The cord is flexible and quite durable; it is very long (47 inches), but unfortunately, it is undetachable.
