Convenience with foldable earcups and 90° rotatable earpads including headband is extendable too. The sound quality is moderate and fit for music, movies, and gaming. OneOdio A71

over-ear, hi-res studio recording headphones, wired, share music & videos, in-line mic, foldable earcups, soft padding earpads, stretchable headband, wired (3.5mm & 6.35mm), 90-degree swiveling ear pads

OneOdio is a reputation for cheap headphones and the OneOdio A71 Fusion is one of the best over-ear headphones under $50. In fact, the price of the A71 is moderately lower than that. In the OneOdio A71 review, we are talking about design, comfort, sound quality, pros & cons, and my final verdict for these cheap over-ear headphones under $50.

If you are looking for friendly budget wired over-ear headphones with more comfortable than Skullcandy Riff (more detail on Amazon.com), you are sitting in the right place.

OneOdio A71 review – Design and Build Quality

OneOdio A71 review

At first glance, the look is nice with red and black looking perfectly contrasted. The overall construct is almost all plastic. The plastic is thin and once you touch them you will know that immediately should touch them tenderly and never place them vigorously on a table or anything hard surface.

The headband is like general headphones, extendable and adjustable to fit all head shapes. The earcups are oval-shaped design and foldable plus with 90-degree rotatable. This makes it more convenient, you can fold and rotate for storage in the bag or comfy wearing around your neck.

The Earpads are padded with ear cushions and covered with vinyl leatherette, which gives enough soft and comfy for my ears. After I wear the A71 listen to music for hours, wow! I did not feel any fatigue or pain around my ears at all. That’s why the OneOdio A71 is ideal for monitoring and mixing and working in the studio.

The hinges are quite solid and stable, the headband slider clicks nicely and there are no creaks or squeaks.

OneOdio A71 Review – Connectivity

OneOdio A71 - Multi-Functional headphones

The OneOdio A71 provides a detachable cable. There is a 3.5mm and a 6.3mm cable. You can use these cables for sharing your music with your friend that is one of the A71’s great features and I like it. The A71 comes with a jack lock system on the stereo AUX cable, this allows for a more stable connection and provides a secure fit connector.

These cheap over-ear headphones also add a jack lock system on the stereo Aux cable. You don’t have to worry about any connection problems. They also have a standard 1.2m analog cable with a remote button and in-line mic.

OneOdio A71 Hi-Res Studio Recording Headphones – The Sound Quality

OneOdio A71 Studio Fuison headphones

Surely, you can not compare cheap headphones to audiophiles headphones in terms of sound quality. However; the OneOdio A71 is decent quite good sound performance among other headphones in this price range. It’s not wireless, but generally wired headphones offer better sound quality than wireless.

When it comes to sound quality, the A71 offers not-so-good and no-too-bad sound stages. The bass is decent deep and strong but not as much as ATH-M50X. However; sometimes I feel that the A71 has too much bass mud. The mid-bass is quite warm and fuzzy sounding. But some tracks like Sun BLVD or Ian Ewing, sound pretty fabulous.

The treble is lacking in some details and slightly withdrawn, but you can hear crisp high tones for some tracks.

How is the noise isolation?

OneOdio A71 - High-quality sound separation, and enough sound isoloation when performing

The sound isolation is adequate and decent, even though unspectacular. The soft padded ear cushions help to reduce the outside sound quite a lot, although not all. Nevertheless, the OneOdio A71 is not our first option for passive noise isolation headphones.

The OneOdio A71 Fusion is decent-sounding headphones. The important thing is a cheap product and comes with good sound quality and comfortable headphones. It’s a great fit for movies, immersive explosion-heavy gaming, and mainstream music genres.
