OneOdio A10 Review – The Design

OneOdio A10 Review

The exterior looks so good in pair of budget-friendly over-ear headphones. The material is composed of metal aluminum, plastic, and soft memory protein which blends together perfectly become to a good and luxurious headphone.

On the left earcup, you will see a USB type C slot and LED light status for charging. As well as the active noise-canceling button is sitting on the left cup too. while the right earcup has a 3.5mm audio input, volume buttons, a status LED, and a power button.

Same as general over-ear headphones, the OneOido A10 is a foldable design and adjustable headphones. Including soft memory foam padding in both cups to make you comfy around the ears and not fatigued though wear them for two or three hours. The foldable design is useful when you need to pack the headphones and take them on the go.

OneOdio A10 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones – Comfortable

Although the ear cups have a pleasant, velvety feel, they are only moderately deep. So these maybe not ideal for those who have got particularly large ears. If you have moderate head and ears size, the earcups are quite close to your ears but not so much tight.

As I mentioned earlier, the space of the earcups is quite shallow. I believe it would be best if they increased the foam padding in the ear cups to just push them slightly further from your ear such that the circumaural fit offered your ears a tiny amount of interior breathing space. But, that is a very minor issue of an otherwise really comfortable piece of clothing.

The headband has a lot of give and flexibility, which may extend its reach if you need it to reach your ears.

Battery Life

OneOdio A10 ANC headphones - Long baterry life up to 40 hours of playtime

According to A10’s spec, they provide a battery life of up to 45 hours (at 80% volume). Once turn on ANC and Bluetooth mode, the OneOdio A10 provides 35 hours of battery life and extends to 50 hours if only ANC mode is turned on. I don’t know the exact number of hours the company claims, is accurate? But I feel that these cheap ANC headphones provide not less than 40 hours on average, which is very good playtime for a long flight.

Bluetooth 5.0

The OneOido A10 ANC headphones use the feature of Bluetooth 5.0 which supports SBC and AAC audio codecs as well as delivers lossless audio transmission too. There is also a built-in CVC 6.0 noise-canceling microphone to ensure you will have clear hands-free calls. These cheap hybrid ANC headphones by OneOdio are widely compatible with various devices whether Andriod/iOS smartphones, tablets, iPods, PCs, laptops, TVs, MP3/MP4 players, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

OneOido A10 Review – The Sound Quality

OneOdio A10 - Hi-Res Audio to enjoy the incredible sound

Soundstage

The soundstage of the A10 is fairly small and condensed. There is no clear distinction between the instruments. The soundstage is not so wide. For cheap active noise-canceling headphones, this is not extremely upsetting nor unusual, but it is more noticeable in terms of a soundstage in more expensive ANC headphones

Lows

The OneOdio A10 provides decent sound quality. The product well-balanced sound for lows, mids, and highs. These A10’s wireless ANC headphones provide not especially dense or it is not heavy bass. Unlike more other cheap ANC headphones that inflated bass that overpowers the mids and highs. And sometimes it feels like the bass is overwhelming. But the OneOido A10 is loose in the mid-bass. But, it is there and does offer enough layers to the mids and trebles to produce a decent sound.

If have to have something that should be corrected, the bass is likely the frequency region that might require the most improvement in the future. Just add a little more it’s very good. Again, though, you won’t have many complaints at this pricing, I think. Yet while I listened to them for extended lengths of time, I most definitely didn’t feel the need for change.

Mids

The mids sound great, as do the vocals, clean guitars, mid-range sounds, and keyboards are also good too. They are absolutely recommended for most genres, as well as some rock and acoustic pop.

Highs

The treble is adequate but not very high-reaching. Moreover, the treble and mids have a somewhat compressed sound when the active noise-canceling is activated. Nonetheless, this is very typical for active noise-canceling headphones, especially low-cost versions.

This doesn’t greatly alter when the active noise-canceling is disabled. Both with and without ANC, sound fairly decent overall. It opens out a little more, and the compression slightly lessens.

OneOdio A10 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling

A considerable deal of the lower frequencies is successfully reduced by ANC features. So the OneOido A10 is good for travel on public transport and can reduce low-frequency noise like plane, train, or bus engines. However, despite the with a not very good design make the headphones don’t filter out ambient noise making it not so good effective capability of passive isolation.

Because the headphones themselves do not filter out ambient noise, the issue is that it is considerably less effective than they might be. As a result, noise in the middle and treble area is not at all impacted by the headphones’ presence and remains unmodified.

OneOdio A10 Review – Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Elaborately design
  • Decent comfortable
  • Very good battery life, providing up to 45 hours according to specification
  • Affordable
  • Hybrid ANC can reduce low-frequency noise very well

Cons

  • The earcups are quite shallow.
  • Not suitable for those who have big heads and ears
  • Not so widely soundstage and just moderate sound quality

Packaging & Accessories

OneOdio A10 - Accessories in the package

The external box is fairly attractive and looks neat though it is a cardboard box. The OneOdio comes in a fairly straightforward box with a hard carrying case that also houses the headphones, a USB-C to USB-A connection, and a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm aux wire.

OneOdio A10 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones Review – Final Verdict

Before ending the OneOdio A10 review, I just would like to say, the OneOdio A10 is not quite great in terms of sound quality. The sound stage is a little narrow but they still deliver decent sound. The bass is not as deep and not as punchy as it should be. But they have a nice design, good comfort, and a very long battery life. The ANC feature can work but not so well.
