OneOdio Studio Wireless Pro C Review – Great & Affordable Set of Headphones

OneOdio is a brand of headphones product that most people are well known for achieving good sound performance at affordable prices. They started in the line of DJ’s headphones and were so successful that it was widely known. In the beginning, the OneOdio starts with wired DJ headphones, which you may have heard before, such as OneOdio Pro-10, OneOdio Pro-30, OneOdio Pro-50, and OneOdio A71. But today, we will be talking about the wireless headphones of OneOdio, Studio Wireless Pro C (Y80B). It is over-ear, comfortable, has great sound quality and clarity, and excellent battery offer lasts up to 110 hours of playback.

OneOdio Studio Wireless Pro-C Review- The Design

The OneOdio Studio Wireless Y80B is a very comfortable over-ear headphones. It’s versatile headphones that can work with Bluetooth or wired via a 3.5mm audio cable. Bluetooth 5.2 lets you listen to music via smartphones, PCs, and laptops. The main structure is plastic and that doesn’t give it much weight. Overall built quality is strong and durable. The headband is adjustable to fit all head sizes. The earcups are designed for multi-angle rotation. That means the earcup can move around both two axes for proper fit and great sound isolation. There is a thick piece of foam padding underside of the headband, which helps relieve pressure on the head quite well. The headphone also folds to a compact shape for space-saving and easy portability.

The earcups are properly round shaped (perfectly circular) and padded with soft memory cotton and skin-friendly protein leather adding to the softness and comfyness around your ears. However; they can heat up the ears a bit if a long-wearing session. But, this design provides a pretty good passive noise isolation.

I like the earpads that are detachable. So you replace them if it is damaged or torn by accident.

Comfortable

If you looking to find headphones for a long listening session, keep in mind that, the OneOdio Studio Pro C wireless headphones are pretty too weight, at 260 grams. So, for a long listening to music for hours with them may make you feel uncomfortable head. They also don’t have a ventilation mechanism and maybe make you get some heat around the ears too. In conclusion about comfort, for me, these wireless studio headphones cause discomfort after a long period of wearing them.

Connectivity And Physical Clickable Control Buttons

These wireless over-ear headphones do not touch control system. It has real physical buttons to control all functions. There are three buttons on the right earcup. They have good responsiveness and have a clicky sound which is hearable when you press them. These buttons let you control the power, volume, playback (play/pause/track), and call management (answer/reject/end).

Next to the ‘-‘ button, there is a 3.5mm audio port which slightly raises and has a slot inside. Which I think can create a more snug connection. It will help a more solid connection and the jack is not loose.

In the box, you will get the 1.2-meter audio cable. There is a built-in single-button controller with a front-facing microphone inline the cable. It is the omnidirectional microphone that picks up the voice clearly. Besides, there is a noise-canceling microphone on-board on the right earcup. So it can reduce background noise quite a bit.

On the left earcup, you will see a micro USB port for charging the battery of the headphones.

In Bluetooth mode, they utilize a Bluetooth 5.2 chip to deliver high-resolution audio. Besides, they can connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. It’s supported with SBC and AAC codecs. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support aptX and aptX-LL.

OneOdio Studio Wireless Pro C Headphones – Battery

When talking about battery life, have to say that it’s very impressive. The OneOdio Studio Wireless Pro-C comes with a built-in 1000mAh rechargeable battery and provides up to 110 hours of playtime at a medium volume level. In real use, I’m not serious about detecting time. But I feel like it can be used for more than 4 weeks or a month (use about 3 – 4 hours daily) at 30% to 40% of volume level.

The headphones take 3 hours for a full charge from the empty battery.

These Studio wireless headphones also can play games. Even though it’s not that good. There is a slight lag if you play some games that have high-resolution games, such as shooting games.

Overall, it can be used for playing games. But it’s not very good.

These cheap studio wireless headphones provide good sound quality and the build quality is quite good for its price. Bluetooth 5.2 gives a solid connection and also can connect to two devices simultaneously. The OneOdio Studio Wireless Pro-C also comes with a dedicated microphone that lets you use it with console gaming or PC. They are comfortable to wear even though some have a problem with a bit warm if long sessions. The headband can adjust the length for any head size. The earcups can rotate two axes, helping to wear and easily fit the shape of the head. All in all in the OneOdio Studio Wireless Pro C review, if you are looking for new wireless over-ear headphones, affordable, have good sound quality, and good build quality, purchase the Studio Wireless Pro C (Y80B) is an excellent option.
