The sound quality is good and delivers powerful bass and rich sound details, The Air3 Deluxe HS also comes with low-latency game modes and app control. Convenient pause music with an in-ear detection sensor. Built-in dual microphone with ENC technology blocks ambient noise up to 80% to optimize the call quality.

SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS

semi-in-ear, hi-res audio, support codecs: LDAC, playtime: 5 hours (single charge)/20 hours (with charging case), in-ear detection, app control: yes (SoundPEATS app), personalized EQ, support game mode (60ms low latency), smart touch control, built-in 4 mics for clear calls

SoundPEATS is one of a few brands of wireless earbuds that are not expensive (really they are quite cheap at all) and support LDAC (high-resolution Bluetooth codec). The SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS is one of them, they are cheap wireless semi-in-ear that support high-resolution codecs like LDAC. They provide 20 hours of playtime ( including its charging case). Furthermore, the Air3 Deluxe HS also supports ultra-low latency (60ms), which is ideal for game mode. There is something that you should know before making a decision to buy SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS wireless earbuds. What’s it? Look at the details of the SoundPEATS Air3 Duluxe HS review.

SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS Review – The Design

As I mentioned earlier, the SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS are half-in-ear wireless earbuds. This design will reduce the pressure while the earbuds sit in your ear canals but they may not tighten the ear as they should. Half-in-ear or semi-in-ear do have no silicone tips which means they will not be completely close to the ear canals and noise isolation is not so good as well. If you are one of those easily uncomfortable with full in-ear design, the semi-in-ear like SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe Hs or Tozo A3 will be good options for you.

The charging case looks pretty normal. There is nothing outstanding. Flip open for the top and there is only a single dot LED light at the front to show the battery and pairing status. There is a small button below the LED. This button is used for pairing reset.

The earbuds have a pretty long stem and the touch control area is placed on the rear of both earbuds. They come with large 14.2mm dynamic drivers that deliver good dynamic sound.

Smart touch control

Touch control is easy and accepts commands quite well. For controlling the earbuds, I take a bit of time to accustomed to the touch control scheme. Normally general wireless earbuds, play/pause and answer/end calls using a single tap. But the SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS is unlike it, they use double tap to play, pause, answer, and hang up a call.

How to control the Air3 Deluxe HS earbuds?

Playback control

  • Play the music – Double tap the MFB (either left or right) or wear either earbud or both to resume
  • Pause the music – Double tap the MFB (either left or right) or take off the either earbud
  • Next song – Press and hold the right MFB for 1.5 seconds
  • Previous song – Press and hold the left MFB for 1.5 seconds
  • Volume up – Single tap the left MFB
  • Volume down – Single tap the right MFB

Turning on/off the earbuds

  • Power on – Open the case lid or press and hold the MFB for 1 second (either left or right)
  • Power off – Put earbuds back into the case and close the lid or press and hold the MFB for 1 second (either left or right)
  • Call control

Call Management & Voice Assistant & Game Mode

  • Answer/End a call – Double tap the MFB (either left or right)
  • Reject a call – Press and hold for 1 second (either left or right)
  • Switch between 2 calls – press and hold for 2 seconds (either left or right)
  • Activate voice assistant – Triple tap the right MFB
  • Enable/Disable game mode – Triple tap the left MFB
  • Manual enter pairing mode – Press and hold the button on the charging case for 3 seconds

SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS Wireless Earbuds – Battery Life

According to the specification, the SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS offers 5 hours on a single charge with the earbuds. And provide up to 20 hours of playtime when including the charging case. In my thinking, 5 hours is not enough for a long flight trip and 20 hours is a bit less. However; if you are not focused on playtime, the SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS wireless earbuds are an acceptable option.

One thing that you should know, the total playtime still depends on features you turn on such as game mode, volume, etc.

SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS Review – The Sound Quality

They are half-in-ear form factor headphones so they are not completely sound isolated, or the other words the Air3 Deluxe HS from SoundPEATS can’t block the environment’s sound. The sound quality is just moderate and good for listening to general music. Lows, mids, and highs all sound right and well-balanced but the bass is most prominent. The bass is better than the other half-in-ear I’ve heard. The soundstage is quite wide and expansive due to the half-in-ear design.

The main point of the Air3 Deluxe HS’s sound quality is supporting LDAC with up to 24bit/96kHz, and a transfer rate of 990kbps. This feature will allow you to listen to music with hi-res lossless sound quality.

The good thing, the SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS provides the SoundPEATS app to access extra features. There are ten bands custom, preset EQ modes, and adaptive EQ. Even though the charging case can’t show the battery status, you can know about battery status via the app. The app will display the current battery level, which means you will see the battery level of both earbuds. That’s cool.

Call Quality & Game mode

I have no issues with hearing while calling, my voice is loud and clear and the other end can hear everything that I said. I think this is the result of an advanced ENC dual mic on each bud, which precisely picks up clear voice on calls and reduces the ambient noise interference very well. That all makes my call have good quality and I am very impressed.

The AIr3 Delue HS has a dedicated gaming mode. For playing games with these SoundPEATS wireless earbuds, are better than other wireless earbuds that have no dedicated gaming mode. It’s pretty obvious that it reduces lag. But not all, there is still some latency in some games. What do you so much expect from headphones at this price, is it true? With this, I am satisfied. It’s great and worth it.

SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS Review – Final Verdict

Look for affordable wireless earbuds for listening to general music and good value for money, right? The SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS are cheap wireless earbuds that utilize Bluetooth 5.2 and support LDAC codec. While some wireless earbuds are more expensive like Final ZE3000, Beoplay EX, or even Bose QuietComfort Earbuds ii don’t support LDAC. Besides, the Air3 Deluxe HS wireless earbuds also support the SoundPEATS app, which lets you have personalized EQ too. Auto-pause or in-ear detection is another feature the Air3 Deluxe HS provides you. They also have the game mode (60ms low latency). I don’t recommend them for heavy sports, because these wireless earbuds have only IPX4 water-resistant rating. A lot of sweatiness may damage the internal circuit.

Okay, it’s time to say bye. However, I so much thank you for reading the SoundPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS review until the end and I hope that you will get useful information before making a decision about buying SounePEATS Air3 Deluxe HS. Thank you
