Ergonomic design and is very lightweight only 3.5 grams per earbud. The Tozo A2 Mini is still wonderful for its main purpose of listening to and enjoying music at a low price.
Tozo A2 Mini Wireless Earbuds
true wireless, in-ear, battery life: 6 hours (single charge)/24 hours (with case), lightweight, built-in microphones, waterproof: IPX5 rating, charging type: USB-C, Bluetooth 5.3, superior clear calls, one-step pairing
The new wireless earbuds from Tozo, come at very cheap prices. But also the sound quality and overall built quality are quite good. The Tozo A2 Mini wireless earbud just releases on Amazon around Aug 2022 but they get more than 4.5 ratings with more than 320 reviewers on Amazon.com. Why is the rating so high? Try to the answer in this Tozo A2 Mini review.
Unlike the previous model, Tozo A1 is a wireless earbud without stems. These Tozo wireless earbuds are moderately long stem styles designed (not too short and not too long). They do not too much protrude from my ears and don’t make me annoying. The earbuds look nice and feel it is not cheap price. They don’t feel like 20 USD earbuds at all. They are very comfortable and lightweight, with a single earbud weight of only 3.7g.
The earbuds have polished surfaces and also there is a logo “TOZO” on both stems. The ergonomic design provides a comfortable and secure fit that is not easy to fall down from your ears even if you are intensively working out. The Tozo A2 Mini comes with IPX5 which means it is waterproof and sweatproof. With the ergonomic design and IPX5 rating, so the Tozo A2 Mini wireless earbuds are ideal for sports, workouts, Gym, and any outdoor activities as well. There is a letter R on the right earcup to prevent confusion or wear alternately.
The charging case feels solid and sleek in design. The hinge of the case looks durable. The case closes securely with a magnet. There are four LEDs on the front to indicate the status of the battery. There is a single USB type C port on the rear of the case, which is used to top up the power to the case. They do not support wireless charging, which I am not surprised with this price tag.
The Tozo A2 Mini wireless earbuds are designed with touch control. They provide many operations including volume control, play/pause, skip track, call Siri or hey Google as well as manage calls.
I think the stems would be touch sensitive all the way down but that does not seem to be the case. That is one thing that I don’t like, the area of touch command is quite tiny. Just only a tiny part near the LED indicator light on the earbud that works when tapped. So sometime you may make some operation that you need, don’t work. That means you may touch an area that is not a touch area for operation and they don’t wake any operations.
The charging case has a 315mAh capacity. While charging, the LED in the front of the case will blink one by one. When charging finishes, All four LEDs will be on. After a full charge, the earbuds provide six hours of playtime, and the charging case can top up the power to the earbuds up to 3 times. If the battery is low, the annoying voice notification will repeat over and over about once a minute until you put them back into the case to charge again. I think you can’t stand for the sound notification every minute, it’s very annoying. I can’t stand it either.
The Tozo A2 Mini wireless earbuds utilize Bluetooth 5.3 technology. They support standard profiles like HSP, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP and provide transmission speed along with a low-latency listening experience. They also come with a one-step pairing feature, you just take the earbud from the case and they will connect to each other automatically. Only one thing that you need to do easily, on your smartphone Choose ‘TOZO-A2’ in the Bluetooth setting to pair the earbuds.
Likewise many of my previous cheap wireless earbuds reviews, we can’t expect high-end sound quality with cheap wireless earbuds. The audiophiles should look over them. Because the Tozo A2 Mini wireless earbuds are as well, the sound quality is plain, but rather towards a bit heavy bass than other cheap wireless earbuds. So, if you are looking for wireless earbuds with a little more detailed and treble-focused, the Tozo A2 Mini is probably not for you. Another thing, there is no app to tune sound profiles or customize EQ.
Passive noise cancellation is also good if you choose the right tips that fit and are enough tight for your ears’ size and shape. This is a general make sense that is understandable.
