CASCHO S23 Semi-In-Ear Wireless Earbuds

Wireless earbuds with a charging case are rapid growth and are widely popular, due to their small, lightweight, and easy take on the go. Most of them come with long battery life mostly more than 30 hours. As well, most of them are affordable and have good build quality as well as come with several good features. The CASCHO S23 is among them. They are cheap wireless earbuds and come with IPX7 waterproof, Bluetooth 5.3, 37 hours of playtime, and each bud is built-in 4 mics for crystal clear calls. Let’s go dig into the details of these wireless earbuds in the CASCHO S23 review.

CASCHO S23 Review – The Design

These earbuds are Airpods alternatives but they are so much cheaper than AirPods. They are half in-ear design. The earbuds come with long stems and the touch area is set on the stem. Its charging case is small and lightweight. It’s small enough to easily slip into the trouser pocket. The single earbud is only 3.2 grams and the 45-degree in-ear design helps it stay in place and not easily fall off while you exercise. However; in terms of a secure fit and not easily falling off is not as good as wireless earbuds with ear hook designs such as CASCHO BX17 wireless earbuds.

Their charging case is 41 grams and vertical design, the lid is open from the top. There are battery indicators at the front of the case, letting you know how much battery remains of both earbuds and the charging case.

Personally, the stems are quite long and it might feel a little annoying at first. But after using it for a while, it starts to get used to it and no longer feels like its stems are cluttered.

Smart Touch Control

Like other general wireless earbuds with stem style, the CASCHO S23 uses touch control, not a physical button. You just tab on the back on both stems to activate functions like playback, call, volume, or activate voice assistant.

CASCHO S23 Review – Durability

The earbuds come with P2i nano-coating and a closed internal design making them can against water, sweat, or even rain. The earbuds housing is IPX7 waterproof rating but the charging case is not. So if you take them outdoors, please protect the charging case to avoid the rain.

How about the battery life?

According to their specifications, the CASCHO S23 gives 7 hours for a single charge on earbuds. Another 30 hours of playtime with their charging case. The hours of playtime is not exactly, depend on the volume level you listening to. But 7 hours on a single charge is just standard playtime for wireless earbuds. These cheap semi-in-ear wireless earbuds utilized USB type C for charging. It takes around 1.5 hours for a full charge

The 37 hours of playtime is just mediocre when compared to other wireless earbuds. There are many wireless earbuds in the market that provide more battery life than the CASCHO S23 such as NIPELL A66 (88 hours) or Ddibdi IT100 Plus (40 hours), and still have many wireless earbuds that come with very long battery life.

CASCHO S23 Semi-In-Ear Wireless Earbuds – Call Quality

Bluetooth 5.3 technology provides auto pairing and stable connectivity. The CASCHO S23 has built-in 4 CVC 8.0 plus ENC call microphones that offer crystal clear calls. Lets you talk clearly to others over the phone. They really reduce noise interference during calls obviously.

CASCHO S23 Review – The Sound Quality

The company claims the CAHCHO S23 uses 14.2mm drivers with double-layer composite vibration hour that gives 43% big bass sound, I don’t know if it is true. But I can feel the bass is not so strong and not deep enough. I think this because the semi-in-ear design, in which the earbuds will not get deep into the ears, and block outside noise is not very well. There is no silicone tip which makes it not intimate to the ear canal. These factors make the CASCHO S23 wireless earbuds deliver a bass sound that is not heavy and not too deep.

However; these cheap wireless earbuds offer very good highs. The treble is crystal clear. For the loudness of volume, they are quite loud. You do not necessarily crank up the volume too high. Just moderately around 50% is loud enough.

The sound quality is an individual feeling, which may differ for each person. I had read some reviewers say that the CASCHO S23 actually has bass. It’s up to each person’s discretion, which may not be the same.

CASCHO S23 Wireless Earbuds – Pros & Cons

Pros

  • IPX7 waterproof
  • lightweight both earbuds and the charging case
  • Bluetooth 5.3 and stable connectivity
  • Good decent sound quality
  • Decent battery life

Cons

  • Lacks low-frequency sound
  • The semi-in-ear design may be not convenient for some
  • Not good noise-isolation

CASCHO S23 Review – Final Verdicts

The CASCHO S23 wireless earbuds are cheap and provide amazing sound for the price. Even have not strong bass but they have good treble. With Bluetooth 5.3 and CVC8.0 noise-canceling mics give good call quality. These wireless earbuds offer up to 37 hours of playtime. The earbuds’ body still has IPX7 waterproof that allows you to wear them for running, working out, or doing any activities outdoors without worrying about rain or a lot of sweat.
