NIPELL A66 Wireless Earbuds Review – The Design

NIPELL A9 Wireless Earbuds review

The charging case shape is rectangular, which looks normal and does not outstanding. A cool and eye-catching is the blue LED light power display on the top of the charging case. You can see the status of the battery, both earbuds and the charging case without opening the lid of the case. If you open the case, the dual power display will be more apparent with blue LED light. The charging method only uses a USB-C cable, and the USB-C and USB-A slot is placed on the right side of the case. There is a plastic lid covering the charging port to protect dust and water from creeping into.

The earbuds have a circular shape and have perfect curvature and also have a blue ring LED light on the back. They are touch control, not physical buttons. Operating the touch control is easy and intuitive. You can play/pause, next/previous, volume up/down, call management (receive/reject/hang out), and activate voice assistant via touch control.

The NIPELL wireless earbuds are available in two colors (while I writing the NIPELL wireless earbuds review): only black and white.

Battery Life

NIPELL A9 wireless earbuds with strong battery

These cheap wireless earbuds have amazing playtime. Thank the 1800mAh rechargeable battery capacity provides a maximum of playtime up to 88 hours if use both earbuds simultaneously all time. If alternating the use of earbuds or using one earbud at a time, The NIPELL wireless earbuds along with its charging case can use up to 132 hours of listening to music. Each earbud has a 50mAh capacity and when charged fully give 6 to 8 hours of playtime.

There is a USB-A port near the USB-C charging port, use for emergency charging of your mobile phones or electronic devices that use USB charging. However; 1800mAh capacity is not much. So for using the NIPELL’s case to charge your phone, maybe can be charged partially or only slightly by 20 – 30% depending on the battery capacity of your mobile phone.

Bluetooth 5.2

NIPELL A9 Review

After the first connection is finished, the next time when you open the lid of the case, it will automatically reconnect to the lasted device even though the earbuds are still sitting in the charging case. The NIPELL A66 wireless earbuds utilized Bluetooth 5.2, and provide a stable connection within 33 feet or 10 meters without obstacles.

Durability

They are lightweight, just 5.9 ounces, and made of good material (I think). These cheap wireless earbuds apply IPX5 waterproof rating. This waterproof level can against little water splashes including soft rain and sweat. However; if you are those who have a lot of sweat while working out, I don’t recommend this item. I’m not sure, can a lot of sweat damage the earbuds?

NIPELL Wireless Earbuds Review – The Sound Quality

The company claims that the NIPELL 66 gives immersive sound, deep bass, natural mids, and powerful highs. As well as possible to hear every detail of sound. I think they said exaggeratedly. These wireless earbuds don’t provide excellent sound like that.

The NIPELL A66 wireless earbuds deliver good sound but are not even great. The sound quality is on par with other cheap wireless earbuds. That is good for listening to music but can’t need high-end sound performance. If you just find cheap wireless earbuds for listening to music while working or resting in the living room, the NIPELL A66 wireless earbuds are a good option.

However; the NIPELL A9 wireless earbuds also provide quite a natural sound.

Call Quality

They come with a built-in microphone and good call quality as well. I can hear and understand all that the other end talks albeit the background noise is still alive but will drop if you choose the right tips and can perfectly fit in the ear canal.

NIPELL A66 review – Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Cheap
  • Strong battery
  • Dual battery display
  • Automatically connect just open the lid
  • Can  use single bud (either left or right)

Cons

  • Decent sound quality like general other cheap wireless earbuds
  • Quite a little waterproof, just IPX5

NIPELL A66 Wireless Earbuds Review – Final Verdicts

To sum up the review about the NIPELL A66 wireless earbuds, they have an outstanding battery and can use as a power bank in an emergency case. Bluetooth 5.2 offer stable connectivity. Built-in microphone lets you hands-free calls with good decent call quality. Unfortunately, there is no ANC and in-ear detection. But the company provides four different sizes of silicone tips in the package, which help you find the perfect size to fit your ears. The sound quality is just plain and it is not a key point if you want to buy the NIPELL A66 wireless earbuds.
