OontZ Clip review: Small only size but is not small features, IPX7 waterproof, Bluetooth connection (100 feet work range), 12 hours of playtime, full stereo music system: connect up to 4 speakers together, built-in mic. The most important thing, the OontZ Clip comes at a cheap price, just under $50 only.
OontZ Clip Bluetooth Portable Speaker
Bluetooth 5.0 (100 feet Bluetooth range), design for portable: metal hanging hook/rubber strap/compact/lightweight, playtime: 12 hours of playtime, waterproof rating: IPX7, built-in microphone, full stereo music stereo (dual mode): connect up to 4 speakers
The OontZ Clip has almost everything you could wish for from a portable Bluetooth speaker. This is a Bluetooth speaker that is compact, lightweight, and easily portable. This cheap portable Bluetooth speaker comes with 12 watts that deliver loud enough, well-balanced sound and is also IPX7-rated waterproof. It can survive in the water or rain. Portability with lightweight and designed with a metal hanging hook on the top and strip rubber on the back, both are convenient for hanging on your backpack or handlebars of a bicycle. I intend to write the OontZ Clip Bluetooth speaker review and hope that this information will be useful for you before buying the OontZ Clip. Let’s go to the review right now.
The OontZ Clip speaker is still a triangle shape but not similar to the OontZ Angle 3, which is a pyramid shape. I don’t know what to say about its shape. Take a look at the picture above, you will know that its shape is different from other Oontzs Models. It’s very small in size, I can hold it with one hand and it securely stays in my palm.
There is a metal hanging hook, just like the “Clip” model name, that you can hang on and take the speaker with you wherever you go. Moreover, the speaker comes equipped with a tear-resistant rubber strap. The reliable strap will hold tight even though shocks or shakes to your backpack, or handlebars (its size is just for bicycle, not recommended use exceed this size)
The OontZ Clip can withstand rain and water. So you can place it by the poolside. However, there is a USB-C charging port at the left corner triangle, but there is nothing covering it. But OontZ Clip has a smart design, the USB-C port is placed in a position where water or rain is difficult to reach. It is in a position that can avoid the rain. However, that doesn’t mean that this USB-C port can’t get wet. I just would like to say, if the water or rain can go inside via this slot, and maybe damage the speaker. It is better if the OontZ Clip is designed to have a rubber plate to veil this port same as the OontZ Pro, OontZ Angle 3, or Ortizan X10.
The control buttons are placed on the edge of the rubber side. There is power on/off, minus (for volume down and track back), Bluetooth (multi-function – Bluetooth, play/pause, speakerphone, dual speaker), and plus (for volume up and track forward). It also has an LED light next down from the power button, which may be a little difficult to see. This is an LED status of working.
The OontZ Clip utilizes USB-C for charging, full charge can offer 12 hours of playtime at 2/3 of volume. Of course, with louder volume will reduce the battery playtime. The charging time is around 3 hours after running out.
If the power is less than 15%, the LED light will turn red and flash rapidly. To preserve the remaining battery, the volume will down automatically.
Another power-saving feature is when the speaker not playing after 15 minutes, the OontZ Clip will automatically turn off.

Easy connect, just press the Bluetooth button on the speaker. Then go to your Bluetooth device (smartphone, laptop, PC), get into the setting choose Bluetooth and select “OontZ Clip XXX” (XXX is 3 characters that are unique to your speaker). After that, your Bluetooth device will be connected in a few seconds.
After the OontZ Clip is paired and connected, the Bluetooth stays stable within 100 feet without obstacles. And that is true, there was not even a slight signal drop or stumble.
When it comes to the sound quality, there is no anything amazing. The OonttZ Clip has 12 watts power output. It’s loud enough for small or medium room sizes. There is no equalizer. The sound you hear is just plain like general cheap portable speakers under $50. If you are not an audiophile like me, just looking for a cheap portable speaker as well as the ability of waterproof for casual listening to music. Not serious and don’t want high-end sound quality. The OontZ Clip is a very great option. Completely for reply your answer.
Pros
Cons
OontZ is a quality speaker with cheap, the OontZ Clip is also. The design is compact and lightweight. Small only size but is not small features, IPX7 waterproof, Bluetooth connection (100 feet work range), 12 hours of playtime, full stereo music system: connect up to 4 speakers together, built-in mic.
