It’s made out of plastic which makes it very light and supports Bluetooth means it does not need any kind of cable to get it connected. You can move it from one room to another room and keep it in your bag and carry it to where you go.
Avantree Torpedo Plus comes with well-protected packaging. And it is shrink-wrapped. Yes, for both boxes and the soundbar inside. After taking it out, you can find a USB charging wire, 3.5mm audio cable, stand, user manual, and warranty card. They even add a reset pin for you in anything wrong happened to the speaker. Nice one and I didn’t use it after weeks of playing and hopefully would not need to use it at all.
Avantree Torpedo Plus is coated with mate soft feel rubber content. It’s fine to hold and doesn’t attract fingerprints at all. And its construction quality is the best. Both of the 5W drivers are hidden behind the quality fabric cover. There’s an LED light indicator on the right side of the speaker.
At the backside, there’re power, mod key, aux in port, charging port, and reset hole that is also a charging indicator with a red light. Below the Avantree Torpedo Plus speaker, there are 2 anti-skid pads with suction cup alike capability. Yup, they’ll hold the speaker steadily even on the loudest volume and bass.
Superb Bluetooth coverage! this cheap small soundbar simply exceeds the standard 10m Bluetooth wireless range in the straight sightline. And manages to obtain connected and playback music top to 8m with some obstacles like a wall.
This is the 2nd Bluetooth speaker that I have tested so far. Yes, music still can play at all rooms with the door closed upstairs while Galaxy S10 as the player located on the center ground floor.
Truly great job! Pairing is very simple; this mini soundbar will automatically go into pairing mode after you power on it. All my mobile phones, notebook, tablets, smart TV, and PC are capable to connect to it smoothly. As for devices without wireless features, a 3.5mm Aux cable is forever there for you.
The super bass mode is my favorite. For me, mode of balance audio is lacking bass, it’d but it is a good quality when you desire to listen to gentle, quiet audio with lesser bass. And 3D surround stereo does its job well.
Avantree Torpedo Plus built-in 2200mAh battery manages to play continuously playtime for 12 hours. And that is based on the average room sound level with a balance audio mode. As usual battery performance is shorter if you play louder. But should be enough for your daily driver, you can always plug in a USB wire to charge when power is low. This best cheap Bluetooth soundbar from Avantree took around four and a half hours to completely charge. In addition, it has auto power-off features for energy saving.
