The B&O Beoplay A9 is a very, very expensive modern wireless speaker. I accept that I didn’t buy this item because it is the most expensive wireless speaker I have ever seen. However, I will put the most effort into trying to search for Beoplay A9’s information as much as possible to write the Beoplay A9 review for the best. I hope this information is useful to readers so they can take the most benefit from reading about the Bang & Olufsen Beopay A9 4th Gen Wireless Multiroom Speaker before making a purchase.

Beoplay A9 Review – The Design

The Beoplay A9 is a large home speaker with a modern design. This wireless speaker looks more like an elegant piece of furniture than a speaker. It has a distinctive design that is flat-round. This most expensive home speaker can stand with tripod legs or also hang on the wall (accessories). The speaker grille is covered with fabric (Kvadrat) that is designed to be especially luxurious.

Material: wood, fabric, aluminum, and plastic

You can control all functions and playback via smartphone or touch control, placed at the back of the speaker.

The Connectivity

The Beoplay A9 provides various connectivity options, both wireless (Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi/WLAN 802.11 b/g/n/ac [2.4GHz / 5GHz]) and wired (Ethernet, Optical TOSLINK, AUX 3.5mm).

For the connection, the A9 gives more convenience because there are a lot of ways to connect, including Chromecast, AirPlay 2, DLNA, QPlay 2.0, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Pairing two Beoplay A9

This wireless speaker also supports multiple connections. They can connect two Bang & Olufsen speakers to produce stereo sound or stream music with Beolink Multiroom, AirPlay 2, and more.

Beoplay A9 Review –  Sound Quality

As for the sound quality, the Beoplay A9 delivers a sweet sound and gives the subtleties very well. The sound is very realistic and provides a very deep and strong bass. I think you can feel the vibration of the air if you adjust to a strong bass via an equalizer. The treble is very crisp and clear. The treble doesn’t feel sharp until it pierces the eardrums. All in all, the Beoplay A9 offers a balanced sound and is extremely clean. The soundstage is spacious and enveloping, and distinguishing the placement of sound instruments is very clear. It is well done for separating the musical instruments and vocals from each other.
