Edifier S2000 MKIII Review – Short words
Edifier S2000 MKIII Review: This is a great high-end wireless bookshelf speaker, Near-Field Active Tri-Amped 130w Studio Monitor Speaker for Audiophiles. S2000 MK3 is one of the versatile wireless speakers that deliver neutral sound performance. With 130 watts gives a very loud speaker and also supports aptX. You can adjust the treble and bass at the speaker. I am very impressed with this pair of active wireless bookshelf speakers, and you?
Edifier S2000 MKIII

If you’re interested, let’s find out more in the Edifier S2000MKIII review:
Edifier S2000MKIII Review – Design
The speakers are large and certainly have a great visual presence in a room. They are 34 cm tall and 20 cm wide, and they weigh around 8.3 kilograms. The S2000MKIII speakers have a black plastic and wooden look that is contemporary, merging into the home but still with a conventional taste.
The wooden style can be seen on the side part of the speaker and is a textured lamina design; it is not actual wood. The sides of the speakers also pinch inwards towards the top, giving the otherwise boxy look a more regular design.
The front side of the speaker is home to the tweeter drivers and woofers, which are housed behind a fabric lattice to provide some good protection while still permitting you to see the drivers themselves.
The grille is adjustable if you don’t wish to use it, and you can also buy a replacement set from the official site.
The back of the right side features two RCA inputs and coaxial and optical inputs. Wireless connectivity is also a choice if you want to go completely wireless, providing a bunch of versatility for whatever setting you might be in.
Build Quality – Best Bookshelf Speaker Under 500
They are just super stunning, which makes them the best bookshelf speaker for under $500.
The classic wood grain against the black drivers with gray dust covers looks excellent. I like the polished black cones and bare screws holding the drivers in place. They’re robust. It handled my scratch test easily without as much as a smudge on the wood grain. To be honest, I did not try very hard as these are going to be returned, but it gave me enough of just how remarkably built these are.
The single weak part of the Edifier S2000MKIII speakers is the dust cover grills. They are pliable, I reckon. I could simply beak in a twist test. A real-world test would be if somebody stepped on it by misfortune. I do not think the dust covers would hold up to strong pressure, so keep them somewhere safe if you decide to rock your bookshelf speakers without them attached.
Edifier S2000 MKIII – Driver
Though it’s different from the ground-breaking influence of the S-1000 speaker when it arrived, the S-2000 Pro model before it hit the marketplace is still noteworthy. Because the S-2000 Pro brings the smooth diaphragm tweeter of Edifier & Phil Jones’ AAD Company, the prototype is from AIRPlUS Silver Reference 1, a compact bookshelf speaker.
Has the Edifier S2000MKIII speaker changed this time?
The simple answer is no. It’s still a similar diaphragm tweeter, just as before. The middle woofer uses a 5.5” aluminum diaphragm speaker.
It adopts a long voice coil design and a long stroke. In short, it’s a very careful and robust design.
Edifier S2000 MK3 – The Sound Quality
The Edifier S2000MKIII speakers fill the entire space with a full sound that has supreme clarity. You find sound details in tracks that you never realized were there. On the handled remote control, you can choose from four preconfigured sound profiles.
These modes are:
- Monitor mode: The sound reproduction will be as accurate as possible.
- Dynamic mode: Reproduce a fun sound
- Classical mode: for classical music genres infused with HiFi spirit.
- Vocal mode: This mode highlights the vocals for any audio track. Good for audiobooks and podcasts.
When changing among the 4 different modes, there’s a minimal but efficient change to the overall tone, but to be honest, I would expect the major difference among them to be more distinct.
Ultra Clear sound
It provides a more enjoyable, clear sound. If you place the speaker on either side of the television, the sound feels like it is coming at you from right in the middle. It is truly a superior experience.
The master volume control has fifty-level high-precision knobs that permit splendid tactile adjustment; this makes sure you get a fully immersive and very loud listening experience when needed.
For the sound testing, I watched the film Fast and Furious 9, and I’m choosing the Edifier S2000MKIII speakers in dynamic mode. This truly brought the film to life, and you’d hear the sound moving around the room when a car drove from right to left on the screen.
Bass
The bass is extremely responsive and just wants to keep firing these wonderful, booming punches until your neighbors come knocking. It is crisp and tight; if you crack the dial to the maximum, it will certainly rattle your eardrums.
Mid and Treble
As for the mid, the tone is extremely impressive and only gets enhanced the louder you adjust the volume level. The treble is very hooded and doesn’t let the big woofers go down out of the high-hat and trap sounds.
