After a very detailed TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92, I found these buds are the best choice on a budget, particularly if you like the one-fit-all design and form factor of Apple’s buds. This style might not be good for all, but for those that it does work for, the buds are a supreme quality sound for the price.
TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92
Semi-in-ear design, True wireless earbuds, Bluetooth 5.0, hi-fi stereo sound, touch control, battery life – 5 hours (single charge)/ 30 hours (with charging case), mono/twin mode, IPX8 water-resistant, hands-free control
The TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92 or model TT-BH092 is budget-level TWS earbuds that come with a portable charging case. Their 1 size fits all design is not perfect for all, but with the fine seal and fit, they can be stable enough to wear during light running and workout sessions. Thanks to their TWS design, they are also extremely portable!
While they provide over 5hrs non-stop playtime might be not enough to get you through your day, their case offers around 5 extra charge shots for when you’re on the go. If you’re interested in these buds, or want to know more about these buds, let’s jump into TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92 review.
The buds feature a lightweight plastic build with a glossy finish. The lightweight build makes the earbuds and the very comfortable to wear for an extended period of listening. But the glossy touch does that they’ll be prone to fingerprints and potentially marks that’d appear over time from usual usage.
The buds follow a stem-style look with solid plastic throughout, so there is no choice for rubber tips – it is 1 size fits all. This would be a disadvantage for some users that might find, they’re unable to get a secure or comfortable fit with the TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92.
To help to create a secure fit the stem of the buds has a small notch within it that wraps around the below of the ear – that’ll surely come in handy if you plan to wear these buds doing a workout or moving around a lot.
Overall, the design of the earbuds is simplistic as there is no too much going on. The touch controls can be found at the upper side, alongside a status LED that’ll let you know when the buds are connected. At the bottom part of the buds are charging pins for when they’re placed into the charging case.
Overall I think Sound Liberty 92 provides a fine quality fit for the price and manages to keep a decent quality build.
TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92 is extremely inoffensive to listen to, with a decently neutral sound signature. There’s a little bit of all, with good highs to prevent harshness. Bass is presented with a fine kick, that’s reasonably controlled. As expected, it does not go extremely into the sub-bass region.
Though, it does have a fine enough presence to make the overall sound performance a little warm. You can hear a good amount of details in the mid-range, with a dynamic presentation. Instruments performance natural, while the vocals
A similar thing goes with treble, which is smoothened to avoid sibilance. You cannot expect much airiness; these are still very smooth to listen to classic buds. Despite being in a neutral way, TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92 is still somewhat fun to listen to.
Do you like buds with silicon tips that go in your ear deep, or do you like classic design, where buds are just hanging on the edge of your ear?
Both designs have their benefits, with the classic one being more comfortable while also offering superior environmental awareness. In the case of Sound Liberty 92 best semi-in-ear under 50, you are also getting touch controls with several handy features. They’re extremely responsive and are not annoying to use.
These are a big noticeable upgrade over whatever you get included when buying phones. So if you’re looking for a modest update that would not break your wallet, for less than 50, these are the best value buds for you.
