EarFun Air Pro Review – Active Noise Canceling Under 80

The EarFun is not a big brand like Bose or Sony, but their products come with not expensive. Especially the EarFun Air Pro comes for under 80$ and have a decent active noise-canceling function. What’s the feature that Air Pro provides with the affordable, let’s look at the EarFun Air Pro review.

EarFun Air Pro Review With New Design

EarFun Air Pro TW302 review

The EarFun Air Pro or another known as the EarFun TW302 model. I like the design of Air Pro, the stems earbuds, it’s fit well in my ears. Ear tips are designed to be removable and the company provides 3 different sizes of ear tips (S/M/L) that make more fit for different sizes and shapes of ears.

The Air Pro is a modern design, the stem has a square, trapezoid, and flat shape. The EarFun Logo is stamped on both sides of the stems, it’s a nice and neat design. The case charging is designed for easily is in the palm of my hand, it’s small and light. Materials are plastics, matte-black, and smooth.

The lid is used magnetic simply to open and close tightly. You can open the lid with only one hand. The case will automatically pair to the lasted devices when opening the lid.

On the backside, there is a USB type C port for charging and the Earfun provides 5V/1A charging cable in the package. They also support fast charges too.

EarFun TW302 Review – Key Features

EarFun Air Pro Review

Hybrid Active Noise Canceling

The most outstanding feature that is the focus of people looking for wireless earbuds is the ANC feature. Thanks to QuietSmart technology offers Air Pro Moreover; they are cheap which is less than 80$ (sometimes their price may be cheaper than this price tag). The EarFun Air Pro’s ANC can block the background noise up to 38 dB as specs.

Nevertheless; you can’t expect high-quality ANC as over-ear headphones like Bose QC35 ii or Sony WH-1000XM4. Normally, over-ear headphones tend to have better ANC features than earbuds. Even the over-ear headphones like Anker SoundCore Life Q30 which are under 80$ still have ANC features that are superior to these wireless earbuds, but they come with bulky and are less convenient to take away.

Water-Resistant: IPX5

The earbuds have the ability to protect water at a level of IPX5. That means it can against water jets 12.5L/min, for example, squirt gun or sweat from exercise. So, the EarFun TW302 is good for outdoor sport and indoor sports. But can’t wear them for swimming or working out whilst hard raining.

Keep in mind that, the earbuds come with IPX5 water-resistant, but the case does not. So be careful, keep the case away from a pool of water. Another thing important, please make dry earbuds before put in the charging case. If the wet earbuds might cause a short circuit and damage the product during charging.

Transparent mode

This feature allows you to still hear the sound from outside while listening to music. The transparent mode have useful for being aware of the dangers that will arise while listening to music, for example, as you walk on the sidewalk or across the street, you will hear the horn of cars. Or, you can hear the operator while you are wearing earbuds.

Battery Life

EarFun TW302 - Air Pro Review

When it comes to playtime, the EarFun Air Pro does it great. They claim 7 hours ANC on and 9 hours ANC off for one charge on earbuds. By testing, it does very closely to their specs. Besides, you can get up to 32 hours with a charging case.

EarFun Air Pro Review – Stereo and Mono Modes

The EarFun Air Pro permits you can use either left or right earbuds independently. So, easy you can use both or one of the earbuds for listening to music. But, something may be inconvenient due to the controlling functions on each earbud are different. So, if you use one earbud some features you cannot use because you have to use the other side of the earbuds for this feature.

Touch control

With smart touch control you can play, pause, skip tracks, and answer/end/reject a call, activate Siri or Google Assistant with the simple tap of a single button.

Wearing Detection – Infrared Technology

Very easy and convenient! You have not to any touch. You just remove the earbuds, the music will auto-pause. Once you wear earbuds back to your ears the music will play auto again.
