Earfun Free TW100 Review – Wireless Earbuds

Wireless audio is not a new technology for the audio industry. There are many players in the industry. But, a new player runs into wireless audio space and looks very hot and popular right now. The EarFun just released Earfun Free wireless Bluetooth earbuds model TW100 have white and black. Deep into the detail in the EarFun Free review to search for something you like and maybe have something you probably do not like.

The EarFun Free is the first pair of truly wireless earbuds from the company which started by former employees of Tribit. These cheap wireless earbuds come for around $50 with truly wireless and 6-hours playtime for one charge (total playtime is 30-hours including with charging case). They are amazing sound quality with a reliable Bluetooth connection. Also, charging via USB-C or Qi wireless charge (not included in the package).

EarFun Free TW100 Review – Design

Earfun Free TW100 Review

These cheap wireless earbuds’ design is not different from most other true wireless earbuds. The earbuds’ shape looks like a teardrop but I feel that their size is a little too big. Not ideal for who small ear.

The charge case’s shape is something that looks like a pill shape. Both earbuds and charging cases are made entirely out of plastic. That’s why they are low weight and also make these wireless earbuds feel cheap too. Obviously, the charging case’s lid slips slightly when opened and make snap when closed.

Something special than other wireless earbuds is the charging case support USB-C and wireless charging. These features that we don’t quite often find in cheap wireless earbuds which under 50 dollars. I also like the charging case which has four white LEDs to indicate the status of power and charge level.

Each earbud has a single button that you can control music playback, up/down the volume, taking on a call, and also your phone’s voice assistant.

What’s included in the package is small, medium, and large ear tips that help you get one that good seal and a USB-C cable for charging. Before talking about the sound quality, these cheap wireless earbuds available in two colors, white and matte black.

EarFun Free Review – The Sound Quality

Earfun Free - Best wireless earbuds under 50

A short definition, great deep bass, and the sound performance exceed the price tag. However; the soundstage is the middle level that is fair for wireless earbuds under 50 USD

When it comes to noise-isolate, EarFun Free does quite well. These affordable wireless earbuds can isolate most external noise with three pairs of ear tips in the box which you can choose one of them that fits for you. We found that I use medium size and fit and obviously feel that it can block out most of the surrounding noise although not all.

In term of connection, is stability and strength connection with Bluetooth 5.0. Just one time set up and the Bluetooth wireless earbuds will automatically turn on and pair with smartphones. They can strongly connect in the work-range up to 15 meters.

EarFun Free TW100 Wireless Earbuds Under 50 – Battery Life

Earfun Free Review

In terms of playtime, According to the specs, the Earfun claims these wireless earbuds can up to 6 hours per once charge. Moreover, you can get an additional 24 hours of playback from the charging case.

In testing these wireless earbuds, we found that the 6 hours and 24 hours playtime that the company has claimed can possible if the volume not greater than 50%. But that’s good enough for wireless earbuds under 50 USD.

How long for a full charge? The answer is 1.5 – 2 hours for a full charge of the wireless earbuds. But if you charge via wireless charging it takes longer than, however; it’s good that the Earfun Free (TW100 model) includes this feature.
