Edifier H850 Review – Best Budget Audiophile Headphones

Edifier H850 Review – Short words

Edifier H850 Review: The H850 is one of the affordable professional audiophiles headphones. Although, it can’t beat and is even equivalent to the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X or Sennheiser HD 600. However; the Edifier H850 is offer decent sound quality beyond expectation. Besides, Soft padding lets you comfy and chic fold-flat design.

Edifier H850 Pro

Noise Isolation, comfort with leather pads, ideal for musicians, fold-flat and removable cable  great for travel, 1-year warranty

Edifier H850 Review – How about design and built quality?

There is a pretty simple design, oval earcups cover the brushed aluminum on the back. The “EDIFIER” label is placed on the outside of the earcups both left and right that quite looks great.

The headband is designed to be extendable for those who have big head sizes. Edifier H850 creates a headband adjustment mechanism that is fairly standard and moderately strong. The pads are designed to be removable, however; it has a little issue that it’s quite tough to put them back in place.

One of the problems that I can feel, is the depth of the ear cups is quite shallow. So, probably will be a problem for people with relatively large ears. Therefore if you are someone who has large ears, should consider others that have deeper earcups headphones for example; Soundcore Life Q30, which is wireless and has ANC features too.

Edifier H850 comes with a detachable cable, but not in-line control.

The Sound Quality – Best Budget Audiophile Headphones

I’m not a true audiophile, but I am very impressed with the Edifier H850 in terms of sound quality. Fantastic sound and is very well-balanced. The highs are crisp and clear. The H850 offers detailed and clean sound. Comes to the low, it’s not deep bass and not great for heavy bass lovers.

I dare to say that, these affordable headphones offer fantastic sound and are very well-balanced. It’s not great for deep bass, but better than for acoustic genres. That’s all private opinion about the sound quality of the Edifier H850, maybe not be the same as other critics.

Another good point is with the well-padding earcups, so if you are those who do have not too large ears, the Edifier H850 offers a quite good sound isolate.
