Like many other over-ear headphones, the DOQAUS Life 3 comes with earcup padding with soft protein that gives it a flexible closed-back fit. The headband can be retractable to fit large and small head sizes. The inner core of the headband is metal, which is solid but can be slightly extended laterally to wear with a large head. They can be folded to a compact size to save space in your bag and make it portable.

The outside of both cups has glossy skin, which looks outstanding. These cheap wireless over-ear headphones do not have touch control. It has physical buttons, all located on the left cup. On the side of the left cup, you will find volume up, playback control that is used for call control as well, volume down, EQ mode, and the power button. However, the company recommends that you take the headphones off every 2–3 hours to get your ears relaxed. But I can wear the DOQAUS Life 3 for almost 5 hours without any fatigue.

The battery life is one of the good things about these cheap wireless over-ear headphones. The DOQAUS Life 3 offers you up to 52 hours for a single full charge. They have batteries with a high capacity of up to 1000 mAh, which is why they can provide playtime of up to 52 hours. Furthermore, the DOQAUS Life 3 also has a fast charge feature; you can get additional power lasting up to 3 hours by just charging the headphones for 10 minutes. This is a great thing for headphones under $40.

In terms of hours of playtime, the DoQAUS Life 3 is at a mediocre level and better than the Raycon Everyday ANC headphones (which give you only 38 hours of playtime for full charging). I can’t say wow in terms of the sound quality. The DOQAUS Life 3 over-ear headphones deliver enough decent sound performance for general listeners, not for high-end audiophiles. With 40mm large bezel drivers and Bluetooth 5.3, these cheap over-ear headphones provide good sound quality and also offer more stable transmission speed as well as low latency. Unbelievably, these headphones below $40 have three EQ sound modes. You can freely switch between well-balanced, extra-powerful bass, and high-definition sound modes.

I can’t go into the specifics of the sound details because I’m not a music expert. In my opinion, the Life 3 headphones deliver the lows, mids, and highs are well-balanced details. Overall, the sound is as good as satisfactory at this price. Except for choosing an extra powerful bass mode, I can feel the thumping sound getting too strong and making me get annoyed.

The DOQAUS Life 3 has a built-in microphone that combines precise voice pickup and makes the call clear and crisp. You can hear every word while talking to your friend or someone else.
