iJoy Bluetooth Headphones

over-ear, wireless/wired, Bluetooth 4.0, working range: 10 meters/33 feet, playtime/talk-time: up to 8 hours, standby: 120 hours,  foldable design, adjustable headband, EQ preset, Micro SD card plug-in, built-in radio receiver, built-in microphone for hands-free calls,

I’ve just written a few cheap wireless over-ear headphone reviews like DOQAUS Life 3 and INFURTURE H1 last few days. Both are cheap and of decent quality. Today I would like to recommend another wireless over-ear and very cheap as well, iJoy Bluetooth over-ear headphones. These cheap Bluetooth headphones are not new releases, they have been released on Amazon since July 2016, which is more than six years, the iJoy Bluetooth headphones are still available on Amazon, which means they are quite popular. Amazon is therefore still available today. Why these Bluetooth over-ear headphones are still popular nowadays and get an almost five-star rating on Amazon as well? Try to check their detail in this iJoy Bluetooth headphones review, right now.

iJoy Bluetooth Headphones Review – The Design

Chic design, not luxurious but simple nice. There is an iJoy logo in the center of the inner circle of both outward earcups, which looks outstanding and cool. Around this logo, there are 5 control touch buttons that I will talk about later.

The earcups are padded with soft memory protein earmuffs and also flexible to fit the head shape and completely closed around your ears. This is designed to help isolate audio and block outside noise very well. Including headband has a snug pad with padded soft material inside, which makes it comfy above your head and easy to fit. However; I feel the soft material padded inside the headband is pretty thin. But it doesn’t hurt my head for 2-3 hours of wear.

The iJoy Bluetooth headphones are designed to be foldable which makes them convenient for taking on the go. The headband is designed to be adjustable to a perfect fit any head size and shape.

There are several colors available and all are two-tone colorful except for black, which is the whole black.

iJoy Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones – Build Quality

The iJoy Bluetooth headphones are made of plastic and look and feel cheap material. So when talking about durability or build quality, my personal idea, they might be not durable enough. If you make them drop from the height, these headphones may crack and break out. So I think you have to use it carefully. At least The iJoy Bluetooth headphones should be able to last for around one or two years or maybe more if you use them carefully

Control Buttons and Connectivity

There are 5 buttons that control all functions on the outside of the left cups. These are flat physical control buttons that just slightly press and work. Doesn’t need to exert a lot of pressure. All controls are playback/manage call, next track/volume+, previous track/volume-, equalizer, and Bluetooth/FM mode.

You can listen to music via Bluetooth 4.0 connection, the iJoy Bluetooth headphones also support an SD card. That means these Bluetooth headphones let you enjoy music via a memory card like a memory SD card. There is a TF card slot on the side of the left earcup. The micro USB charging port stays away from the TF card slot and the 3.5 mm AUX slot is near the charging port. The built-in microphone is located on the bottom of the left cup as well.

Almost forget! Besides supporting a TF card, the iJoy Bluetooth headphones still built-in radio receiver. So you can listen to the radio station too.

iJoy Bluetooth Headphones Review – Playtime

The iJoy Bluetooth headphones come with a 250mAh capacity battery. Therefore they give playtime quite a bit, just 8 hours. But I’m not disappointed with this factor because most I stay at home and can use a 3.5mm audio jack to continue listening to music when they run out of juice. However; For some, 8 hours is quite less when compared to other Bluetooth over-ear headphones, you can find some items that give more playtime like Zihnic 816 (14 hours and support TF card too), KVIDIO (up to 55 hours), which both are quite affordable as well.

iJoy Bluetooth Headphones Review – The Sound Quality

The iJoy Bluetooth headphones are ideal for general listeners, not for audiophiles. By any means but the music sounds really nice. They are not the loudest, but loud enough for me and still plenty loud. The sound quality is really good for general use. These cheap Bluetooth headphones have deep punch bass but the lows are not overwhelming, clean and clear mids as well as highs.

The call quality is very good enough and can be used for calls. The microphone is not superior to this price tag, it’s just moderate for the Bluetooth headphones for $30.
