If you are looking for a medium-priced portable speaker with good quality and good sound ($100 to $150), the Ortizan M8 may be a good choice. Its price is not too expensive, but not too cheap, at the time I’m writing the Ortizan M8 review. It’s a portable design with a shoulder strap, comes with 80W RMS, and also has an enhanced bass mode button. How about this portable speaker? It’s good or not. Let’s go check out the Ortizan M8 review right now.
The first time that I saw the Ortizan M8, it revealed a cylindrical mid-sized speaker with tightly woven black mesh and black trim. Nothing outstanding, but also nothing offensive. It is a portable Bluetooth speaker that looks like the JBL Xtreme 3 and ZEALOT S67, which both are portable Bluetooth speakers that come in a cylindrical design and have the same shoulder strap as the Ortizan M8. The removable strap is nice and made of a soft material. It’s of good build quality and is durable, shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof, with an IPX7 rating.
It included a removable carrying strap with a built-in bottle opener, allowing you to enjoy drinks with your friends while listening to your favorite music.
The Ortizan M8 is a portable speaker whose bottom side of the cylinder is a rubber plate for stability in horizontal placement. The control panel and connectivity slot are placed on the top of the speaker. Also, five LED light battery indicators stay on top too. The connectivity slot is protected by a rubber plate that is completely closed to protect the water. Within the rubber plate, you will find a power slot, a USB slot, and a micro SD slot.
The speaker is about a little over a foot long, about 3.6 inches in diameter, and weighs around 4.6 pounds, or 2 kg. The size is a bit bulky and heavy, but it’s portable. You can hold it in one hand, though it’s a bit less comfortable if you have small hands.
When the Ortizan M8 speaker is in my hand, it feels very solid and has a high-quality rubberized texture.
It’s designed to be waterproof, with an IPX7 rating, which is the same as the Ortizan X8 Pro. This rating certifies it for protection against direct contact with water and allows it to be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. Therefore, you can take the Ortizan M8 speaker outside without worrying about it getting wet, even in rainy conditions.
The Ortizan M8 portable speaker comes with a 14400mAh rechargeable battery, which supports up to 12 hours of playtime at a volume of < 65 dB. The playback time may vary depending on the volume and audio time. 12 hours of playtime is not too much, but it is long enough for a party to last all day until late at night.
Under the rubber plate on the top, there is a USB-A port that can be used for charging your devices, like smartphones, MP3 players, portable lamps, or any devices that charge with USB.
Its lengthy battery life also makes it ideal for long outdoor listening sessions.

According to the specification, the Ortizan M8 comes with a 100-watt peak or 50-watt RMS. It has a digital signal processor chip with dual woofers, dual tweeters, and dual passive radiators. The sound quality and volume are very good for a single speaker. It also supports extra bass in preset EQ mode. The Ortizan M8 speaker delivers loud volume enough for small outdoor parties; it can easily fill a large room with sound. So if you are in a small or medium room, I do not recommend turning the volume too loud.
The mids and vocals are clearly detailed. The highs are clear. The bass, or low sound, is more powerful and deep. The Ortizan M8 has decent dynamics.
It also supports true wireless stereo pairing, which means you can connect two Ortizon M8 speakers to get more loud and up to 160 watts.
The dynamic light show is another feature that I so much like. The LED lights are on both sides of the speaker. Its beautiful gradient lights flash, phase, and shine to the beat of the music. Including looping, breathing, and beat-driven, and up to six different colors of lights bouncing at the same frequency. If you are one of those who like night parties with your friends, the dynamic light show will make your party more fun. However, if you don’t like the light show while listening to music, you can turn it off at any time to meet your needs.
The company provides a 30-day warranty with no reason to return.
Pros
Cons
All in all, the Ortizan M8 portable Bluetooth speaker is perfect for the house and the park. It’s not too cheap and not too expensive—around $120 (at the time I’m writing the Ortizan M8 review). But this speaker comes with many good features, such as IPX7 waterproof, Bluetooth 5.0 fast and stable connectivity, TWS feature, large battery capacity, and the ability to work as a power bank. The M8 speaker has 80 watts of RMS output power and powerful bass. If you are looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker with powerful bass and loud volume, buying the Ortizan M8 will not disappoint you.
