PowerLocus P2 Review – Cheap Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

PowerLocus P2 Review – Short words

PowerLocus P2 Review: These are affordable headphones and come with many features that are better than their price. They provide 15 hours of playtime continuously and HD CVC6.0 built-in microphone for crystal clear sound when talking on the telephone. The PowerLocs P2 Bluetooth over-ear headphones also support a Micro SD/TF card and FM radio that give you to listen to music from an external source without connecting to any devices. However, these cheap headphones also come with Bluetooth 5.0 technology that connects to Bluetooth devices easily and quickly too.

Cheap over-ear headphones come with good decent quality and good sound is not easy to find. Every cheap headphone comes with some minor weakness. There is no perfect and flawless in cheap headphones. What are some good things and drawbacks of the next over-ear headphones that we recommend? Let’s check the detail in the PowerLocus P2 review.

The PowerLocus P2 is one of the cheap wireless over-ear headphones that are very popular and has plenty amount of sales on Amazon and eBay.

PowerLocus P2 Review  – The Design

Overall looks and feel are decent. They can fold inward to save space in the bag making them easy for taking on the go. The PowerLocus also giveaways a nice case in the box, which can protect your headphones from scratching, pressure, and impact. The PowerLocus P2 can extend the length of the headband to fit your head. However; this is an over-ear headphone, which is not easy to portable like other wireless earbuds. If you need headphones that are easier to portable and you are always traveling or working out, I recommend some good wireless earbuds such as Anker Soundcore Life P2 Mini, or Raycon E55 wireless earbuds.

Another thing that I think these headphones are not for working out, there is no IPX level. That means the PowerLoucs P2 is can not protect from water, sweat, or dust.

In my private opinion, over-ear headphones are not a good idea for working out or running. Many people might not think like me. It’s not wrong It’s each person’s preference.

These wireless over-ear headphones provide a strong battery (400 mAh capacity) that can offer you up to 15 hours of playtime. This number is not too less and not too high.

There are available in many colors: black, black/red, black/yellow, camo, black/orange, black/white, blue/white, and rose gold

How are about comfortable of the PowerLocus P2 wireless headphones?

Earcups padding with super soft memory-protein foam leather earmuffs gives more softness and comfortable even wearing for hours. But I feel a bit warm and have a little sweat when wearing them for more than 3 to 4 hours. The fake leather that covers the earcups is not so good to ventilate. So sometimes I need to take them off for my ears to relax.

The extensible of the headband is not quite long but not too short as well. So if you are a normal head size or small head, the PowerLocus P2 offers comfort and fit for wearing. These cheap over-ear headphones are not great for those who have a large head, that is I think.

Strong connection with Bluetooth 5.0

The PowerLocus P2 comes with Bluetooth 5.0 technology. Which easy to connect to your Bluetooth devices and also possible to have two devices paired at the same time. The Bluetooth range is up to 33 feet without any obstacle.

More convenience with support FM and Micro SD/TF card

The cheap wireless headphones have a slot micro SD that supports TF cards too. Besides, you can listen to FM radio as well. Usually rarely found these features in many expensive headphones. There are also other cheap wireless over-ear headphones that have micro SD/TF slots and support FM radio such as Zihnic 816 Bluetooth headphones.

PowerLocus P2 Cheap Over-Ear Headphones – The Sound quality

The sound performance of the PowerLocus P2 headphones is decent good. Especially when comparing their price. The sound is good for normal listening. The sound is well balanced and crisp, with no tinny scrap sound like other over-ear headphones in this range price. However; I feel the bass is not so strong and not deep. These cheap headphones have standard specifications: impedance 32 ohms, frequency response 110 Hz to 20 kHz, driver diameter 40mm, and also CVC6.0 dual microphones noise reduction for good quality hand-free calls.

  • Foldable earcups and extensible headband to fit head
  • Support FM, Micro SD
  • Good battery life (up to 15 hours)
  • CVC6.0 noise reduction built-in microphones

Cons

  • Not for those who have a large head
  • The headband has too tinny padded and is not comfortable on the head
  • Not so good ventilation

PowerLocus P2 Review – Final Verdict

All in all, in the PowerLocus P2 review I have just said that these are not audiophile headphones, you can’t high expectations of excellent sound quality from them. But they still provide good sound and well-balanced sounding. The soft padding earcups offer comfy ears, not fatigue ears but someone maybe feels a little warm and sweaty if wearing them for hours. These are not the best over-ear headphones, but very cheap and provide decent sound quality, and are decent comfort for their price.
