This feeling does not occur with QC35 ii, that’s probably because of padding, Bose 700 changes the materials used for padding, So they are stiffer than QC35 ii.

Overall the Bose 700 review, offer exceptional sound. But they come at a not cheap price, $350 – $400 is a lot of money for some people. If you want to save money in your pocket and looking for solid noise-canceling headphones and also great sound, I would recommend Sony WH-CH710N a Sony WH-XB900N. Even though, they can’t beat Bose 700 in terms of sound quality and noise canceling. Of course, beautiful design and build quality are missing too. But they are better battery life than Bose 700 (35 hours for CH710N and 30 hours for XB900N).
