The company claim that it has great sound and a plethora of useful features. Today we are going to find out the detail of these new model mini wireless earbuds, and how it’s good and bad.

These recently released mini wireless earbuds have a price that is both appealing and reasonable. It’s not expensive and packed great features like game mode, ANC, aptX Adaptive, and there are also many great things with this item. Let’s go into the detail of the SoundPEATS Mini Pro review.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro Wireless Earbuds  – The Design

Due to their apparent diminution in size, these are known as “Mini Pros.” In fact, each earbud is very light, weighing only 4.8 grams or 0.17 ounces. You’ll probably notice that the Mini Pro model is smaller than SoundPEATS Sonic and SoundPEATS H1 around 1/3. The overall design of the SoundPEATS Mini Pro appears to be round and the outwards of the earbuds are slightly triangular.

The charging case is very small and comes in the form of a clamshell. The case housing is made of sleek, matte black plastic. The lid is open from the top like a shell. At the front, the letter “SOUNDPEATS” is printed in a stylishly distinct shade of black, and next down is one green light LED, which is used to indicate charging status.

The earbuds’ housing is matte black and made of plastic with accents that are gray-silver on the top. Each earbud has built-in microphones on the lower tip of the exterior. This built-in microphone is designed to pick up the voice as well as noise.

The earbuds come with three different sizes of silicone tips: small, medium, and large. The default is pre-stalled is medium size. Although easy to take out and replace each tip, they all remain put firmly.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro Review – Comfortable and Fit for Most

First of all, when you buy the SoundPEAT Mini Pro and get it. The first thing to do after opening the box is you have to find the right fit silicone tips for your ears. Take a few minutes to figure out the size of silicone tips you will need. If you feel that the earbuds wiggle or move while you run, stroll, or jump. You should choose other sizes, try all. Once you have done this, there shouldn’t be any pressure spots, and they ought to remain firmly and securely in place even during severe activities. This tip is useful and necessary to do.

It’s completely untrue that the small earbuds are just for those who have small ears, despite what some people may believe. The SoundPEATS Mini Pro is as well, the different-sized silicone tips provide a perfect fit, even if your ears’ canals are a little larger than typical. In my personal opinion, the SoundPEATS Mini Pro offers exceptional comfort. I didn’t have any issue with how they fit or feel after wearing them nonstop for several hours. The Mini Pro wireless earbuds are smaller than the size of the general earbuds, which is rather good for listeners which petite bodies or those who get a little annoyed with how most wireless earbuds fit. We believe the Mini Pro has shape perfectly, they are ergonomically designed to block out background noise and other distractions.

Pairing and Bluetooth 5.2

With a high-tech Qualcomm QCC3040 chipset and Bluetooth 5.2 technology allow pairing the Mini Pro with your Bluetooth devices is effortless. For the first time, you have to choose “Mini Pro” in the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone to connect. The next time, once you remove the earbuds, they will enter pairing mode right away and will automatically pair with the lasted your Bluetooth device you connected previously. The good thing is the Mini Pro will remember your Bluetooth device and will instantly connect with it every time you take them out of the charging case.

After connecting to your Bluetooth devices, you can enjoy watching movies, listening to music, having calls, or playing games uninterrupted.

The Bluetooth 5.2 connection also appears to be quite strong. We didn’t encounter any latency or distortion problems. Never was music altered from its original state by being delayed or distorted. With the addition of the most recent Qualcomm QC3040 processor and the most recent Bluetooth version, SoundPEATS is able to guarantee exceptional wireless communication for a distance of up to 10 meters between the earbuds and the device you have paired them with.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro Review – Sound Mode

Besides ANC features, the SoundPEATS Mini Pro also comes with transparency mode and game mode. Press the left buds and hold to activate transparency mode. Then you can hear music while still being able to hear what’s going on outside. It’s great if you want to hear the environment sound and/or talk without pausing your music. We discovered that the transparency mode performed remarkably well in real-world circumstances. It’s incredibly successful!

Game modes are great for those who use mobile phones or tablets for gaming. After active game mode, the earbuds will change to 60ms of low latency for gaming. This ensures that the sound effect properly syncs with a picture at all times. With general earbuds which are not support gaming, some games that fast move or even moderately move may experience lag (around 1 – 2 seconds) delay between what you hear via your headphones and what is displayed on the screen. But the SoundPEATS Mini Pro wireless earbuds are distinct, and the sound effect and your screen are incredibly consistently synced.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro Wireless Earbuds Review –  The Call Quality

I’ve made a few test calls. These SoundPEATS Mini Pro wireless earbuds utilize CVC 8.0 noise reduction technology, which is quite good. It will effectively filter out background noise from my surroundings and make my voice can be heard well and clearly on the other end. The call quality, Mini Pro provides amazingly well whether you are receiving calls or making calls.

Another good thing is the SoundPEATS Mini Pro wireless earbuds come with a function called “TrueWireless Mirroring”. This feature let you can use either earbud (left or right) or both earbuds, or share another earbud with someone. Or simply called there are three modes: single, twin, and share.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro Review – The Sound Quality

This is the most difficult part to write a SoundPEATS Mini Pro review, due to I’m not a high-end audiophile. It is therefore difficult to communicate the technical language about sound in a way that is easy to understand.

The SoundPEATs Mini Pro’s overall sound quality is extremely outstanding. They offer a well-balanced and well-rounded sound profile. The vocals are not missing in the mix of instruments’ sound and I can still hear the lyrics clearly even though the bass is heavy and the treble is crisp. The bass is abundant but never shadowing the vocals, words, rhythm, and melodies. There is no distortion audible no matter if the volume level is loud or soft.

Mini Wireless Earbuds For Money – Active Noise Cancellation

There is no best at cheap and cheap price. The SoundPEATS Mini Pro wireless earbuds are as well. They have active noise cancellation features but not so good. Some say that it’s just passive noise-canceling.

In my opinion, these cheap mini wireless earbuds really do have active noise-canceling, but it’s just decently solid for their price range. Once you turn on ANC mode, they can block outside noise, but not all. The SoundPEATS Mini Pro can block outside noise like fans, air conditioning, and fridge kicking on, but it doesn’t do much to filter out a baby crying or some noise at higher frequencies. But worth the money, the SoundPEAT Mini Pro’s ANC is great.

However; as you know, turning on the ANC consumes a lot of battery.

Battery Life and Charging

According to the specifications of SoundPEATS Mini Pro, they provide 7 hours for a single charge on earbuds and the maximum is 21 hours when including the charging case. It is difficult to say whether it’s true or not. There are a few factors that affect battery life. For example; the volume level you listening to, turning on ANC mode, and game mode. From my testing, if listening to music without ANC and 50% of volume, they can offer up to 7 to 8 hours for a single charge on earbuds. But if turn on ANC, you can get playtime is not more than 5 hours.

For charging, like general wireless earbuds with charging case. if you put the earbuds back in the charging case, they will automatically charge. The charging type is standard, which is USB-C.

However; in my thinking, the Mini Pro wireless earbuds are rather loud, so 50% of the maximum volume is enough for me.

How about SoundPEATS Mini Pro’s durability?

The tiny size is not mean it’s well fragile, the SoundPEATS Mini Pro is made fairly sturdy. The earbuds are touch control and there is no physical button so every crevice is greatly sealed to against dirt and water. These cheap mini wireless earbuds are IPX5 waterproof rated, therefore the earbuds can withstand water splashes or sweat. Or in other words, the SoundPEATS Mini Pro is ideal for indoor sports, running, or even outdoor workouts.

Keep in mind that, the earbuds come with IPX5 but the charging case is not. It is a little disappointing. It would be better if the charging case have some water-resistance feature too. However, the casing appears to be solidly constructed and expertly crafted.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro Review – Pros & Cons

  • Good sound quality
  • IPX5 waterproof rating
  • Minimalist and lightweight design
  • Hybrid ANC
  • Bluetooth 5.2 – gives strong connectivity and stable
  • Provide game mode and also transparency mode

SoundPEATS Mini Pro Review – Final Verdict

No matter you have big ears or small ears, with the three different sizes of silicone tips will be easy to find the perfect fit in the ear canals. The sound quality is fairly on their price.
