Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro Review – Short Words
Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro review: Great true wireless earbuds with amazing sound performance and also offers exceptional call quality with 6 mics for reducing noise background. The personalized active noise-canceling is very impressed. The Liberty 3 Pro also comes with a multi-point connection that means can connect 2 devices at once and a wearing detection feature. Of course, these wireless earbuds are also recommended by 20 Grammy-Winning audio producers too.
Anker Liberty 3 Pro
True wireless earbuds, personalized ANC, HearID ANC, transparent, hi-res audio
playtime: 8-hours (single charge)/32-hours (case), multi-point connection, 6 mics for calls
wearing detection, support wireless charging, fast charge
The Liberty 3 Pro TWS are the next generation of the Liberty 2 Pro buds. They are more comfortable than the previous model and have superb ANC features. Their Head ID system permits buds to optimize their sound isolation performance based on your in-ear pressure.
Buds also have an auto-off timer to assist in conserving battery performance, which is useful since though they are advertised to last roughly 8 hours, we measure in Liberty 3 Pro review around 7.5 hours which is excellent.
Anker Liberty 3 Pro Review – Design, build, and IP rating
The design is incredibly pleasant and provides a real luxurious feeling, perhaps due to 2 factors – the finishes and the important structure, with bronze-colored, once near to the pavilions which are a true piece of gem.
The materials are also good and meet the price tag, even for the charging case, which has 2 LEDs at the buds compartment and is opaque (though quite big).
They are made of plastic but feel really solid. Liberty 3 Pro buds are also rated IPX4 when it comes to water resistance. They should survive some accidental drops without any damage.
I’ve used these buds for both outdoor running and playing gym indoors, and I have no problems with them falling out. I would prefer a better IP rating but an IPX4 rating should be fine enough.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro – The Controls
Going into controls and this one is where you get remap of every control. And the main thing is I really love one tap because some listeners do not like one tap. After all, you get accidental touches but Anker allows you to pick whether or not have them.
You can remap the Liberty 3 Pro controls as you love so am not going into every detail, as they’ve implemented every control and allow you personalized it for your liking as well.
Anker Liberty 3 Pro Review – Comfort and Stability
The Liberty 3 Pro buds have a comfortable fit. They are comfortable, lightweight, and come with 4 different types of ear tips and stability fins so that you can get a supreme fit. Though, the buds stick out of the ears quite a bit.
The buds have wonderful stability. Once you achieve a fine fit using the provided stability fins as well as tips, they should not move around your ears easily, even during more strong physical activity.
Charging case
The charging case of the Liberty 3 Pro buds is great. It is made of plastic and there’re 3 LEDs to indicate battery life. There is also a button on the backside of the charging case in order to enter a paring mode. Though, depending on how the fins are located on the earbuds and the charging case mightn’t open or close properly.
Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro Review – Sound quality
The sound performance of the Sound Core Liberty 3 Pro is nothing but remarkable same as every Anker bud that we have tested and it provides you a super full and all-around sound performance. Thanks to its 10.6mm driver the pumps out an insane amount of bass coupled with an ultra balance driver to provide you extra clean mid and highs.
The bass provides you a thump feel to it emphasizing quit slightly on the sub-bass and the primary song that I have played using these buds already is aggressive.
I honestly love every bit of it so if you are a bass head then this will certainly work great for you. The vocals on these buds are super crisp and give you a forward sound profile and the artist every sound like they’re right there in front of you.
Wonderful stuff and in the end highs everything here is superb and you can hear how the BA driver is precisely doing its thing projecting every symbol.
The hi-hats are incredibly clear without sounding messy or mushy and they also do not have that ear-piercing sharpness which is wonderful. All in all, I found sound performance the buds are very impressive and for it is the best-sounding wireless earbuds you can buy today.
App
App wise Anker does not disappoint you. Sound Core gives you a great capability in simple UI but I do wish they’ve a standardized feel and look over the range of buds and bring some smart features like the sleep sound from Live P3 and that’d be very nice.
Inside the app, you are getting the battery of the buds as well as the charging case. Earphones are currently not color-coded but this again is probably not the production application yet so hopefully that we are seeing color-coded buds.
Noise-canceling
In Liberty 3 Pro, the ANC works excellent; it adjusts its performance to the ambient volume. To do this, you’ve to stand in noise and trigger the hear ID noise-canceling test in the app.
Measurements are then taken in the canal, and the resulting profile then serves as the basis for adaptive ANC. The sounds quite complex, but the outcome after this procedure is really good.
Low to mid frequencies are canceled out and disappear from some traffic noise, which is then decreased to a whisper. The power of the noise canceling is automatically increased or reduced in 3 stages depending on the strength of the ambient sound. This can be done either through a rotary knob manually or in the app.
The background sound during operation is very low, and the sound graduation towards a solid emphasis on the MIDS is not noticeable. The driving bell effect is hardly present, and this is due to air channels in the buds that provide pleasant pressure equalization.
Leakage performance
The leakage of these buds is remarkable. Even at a high volume level, the leakage amount is quite low, so others around you should not be bothered by your sound if you prefer listening at high volume.

Battery Life
In mixed operation – Sometimes with noise canceling and sometimes without, sometimes listening with straining LDAC codec – I finished after 7hrs, which was pretty good exactly what the company predicted.
The Liberty 3 Pro was fully charged after about forty minutes in the case. If you listen at mid-volume through SBC or AAC, 8hrs is simply possible. Overall these are great values.
Call quality
Six mics and an AI should have a positive effect on the call quality, and this works really well in a silent room for a zoom conference call. The voice is very present and intelligible. In a noise surrounding, the electronics succeed in decreasing background sound to almost zero, but this is the expense of the naturalness of the voice that now obviously appears to be electronically treated but stills come across as powerful.

Anker Liberty 3 Pro Review – Final words
After a detailed Liberty 3 Pro review – I found that the manufacturer has hit a big punch! This is true for the software, hardware, and sound. Thanks to the extremely good app. The active noise canceling feature is good as any Sound Core Earbuds, and the high wind sensitivity of these Liberty 3 Pro buds slightly drawbacks that hardly detract from the overall excellent impression.
