Anker Soundcore Life P2 review: Although the Anker Soundcore Life P2 is not the best wireless earbud and does not produce excellent sound quality. It’s not a high-end portable headphone, but with decent sound quality and a price tag under $50, I found that it’s worth paying less than $50. With IPX7 waterproofing, it’s ideal for sports and travel. Thanks to CVC 8.0 uplink noise reduction technology, the Life P2 is great for business calls with crystal clear call clarity.

true wireless earbuds, in-ear, crystal-clear calls with 4-mics CVC 8.0 noise-canceling, IPX7 waterproof, playtime 7 hours (single charge)/of up to 40 hours (with charge case)
The Anker Soundcore is extremely popular on Amazon because it is quality, packed with good features, and, most importantly, cheap. The last time I wrote about the Life A2 review and the Life A1 review, and this time I picked the Anker Soundcore Life P2 to write a review and also some good and bad things about these cheap wireless earbuds.
The Anker Soundcore Life P2 are affordable true wireless earbuds with 4 mics and an IPX7 waterproof rating that is great for exercise. What are the Life P2’s features that make you surrender to paying a low price for these truly wireless earbuds? Let’s go deep into the Anker SoundCore Life P2 review.
The Anker SoundCore Life P2’s external design is similar to that of the Liberty Air 2 or Liberty Air 2 Pro. There are stems hanging down from the ears. They are feature-light weight that does not make your ear fatigued for long sessions listening to music.
The earbuds’ stem is quite long and protrudes from the earlobe a little. Some people may get a little annoyed when yawning or opening their mouths wide. But for me, it’s not a problem. Each earbud has only one button to control simple functionalities. The button can be on or off, skip to the next or previous song, or pair.
The charging case is lightweight, and it also supports fast charging via USB-C cable. The Life P2 gets additional juice for one hour after 10 minutes of charging. The charging case is small enough to fit easily into a trouser pocket.
The external design has odd looks, but the look and feel are nice. The smooth, rounded edges of earbuds make them soft and comfort to wear.
These cheap wireless earbuds are not of audiophile-level sound quality; the Soundcore Life P2 provides melodic sound and is more natural than some wireless earbuds that produce too strong bass and are not natural in mid-sound.
The bass is punchy and perky. The soundstage is decent but not exactly spacious. The mids are well balanced, but they’re not driving as much detail as some wireless earbuds that are priced above $100. But in all, the sound quality is performed admirably for this price tag.

The good point that I can’t stop talking about is the call quality, with a total of 4 microphones. Also, CVC 8.0 noise-canceling technology can block unwanted noise while you are calling someone. Normally, we can’t expect good call quality from wireless earbuds under $50, but the Life P2 is not. This wireless earbud that comes with a price of under $50 (probably less than 40 bucks on Amazon) gives a call quality quite a clarity. Even though in some situations the voice may be muffled, generally they do the work very well.
For sports lovers, the Life P2 may be a great answer if you are looking for cheap wireless earbuds for sports. Thanks to the IPX7 water-resistance rating, the earbuds can withstand sweat without any damage. It’s also against rain, but it’s not recommended to wear them while swimming.
When talking Bluetooth, the Life P2 comes with the latest Bluetooth V5.0, like the Jlab Air Icon or Jabra Elite Active 75t. It provides a stable signal, allowing you to watch YouTube or Netflix without any delay in sounds or pictures. Besides, Life P2 also supports a high-quality codec called aptX. These cheap wireless earbuds also have features like one-step pairing and automatic pairing, including being connected to the last device.
According to its specs, the Anker said that the Life P2 was lasting up to 7 hours on a single charge on earbuds, and the charging case can add power up to 6 times. It’s a very great thing for 7 hours with wireless earbuds under $50. Because most wireless earbuds under $50 can do between 4 – 5 hours on a single charge.
Besides, the Soundcore Life P2 still has fast charging, by the way, you can get one hour for only ten minutes charge via USB-C cable.
