Tozo HT2 Review: I’m very impressed with the Tozo HT2 wireless over-ear headphones. The sound quality is great for its price. It’s not the audiophile headphones, but it delivers a good sound signature, even though it’s not perfect. The Tozo app gives you 16 EQ sound profiles, letting you choose the one perfect for you. The noise-canceling is still adequate, even if not outstanding. The Tozo HT2 headphones can block outside noise quite well. The headphones are very comfortable, even for hours. The headphones are comfortable to wear and very soft, especially the earmuffs, which are very soft.
Tozo HT2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

I have written Tozo’s reviews for several wireless earbuds. Many of Tozo’s products are among the top 100 best-sellers on Amazon and other online shops in the headphones line. No matter wireless earbuds like the Tozo T6, Tozo T10, Tozo T12, Tozo NC9, Tozo Crystal Buds, and many more items. As far as I know, Tozo has never produced over-ear headphones before. The Tozo HT2 is probably the first wireless over-ear headphones from Tozo. Once I received it and wore it for the first time while listening to music, wow! These wireless over-ear ANC headphones are very soft and have good sound quality. I took several days to test and try to write the Tozo HT2 review as the truth. Okay, let’s go to our target. Why is it that I decided to choose the Tozo HT2 ANC wireless over-ear headphones to review?
Its packing is a hard paper box, which looks nice. Once I open the box, I will see the headphones, and inside a small black box is a 3-foot USB charging cable and a 5-foot aux cable. Besides, the box still has a quick guide and a user manual too.
The overall look and feel are not outstanding; they’re just like general wireless over-ear headphones. The Tozo HT2 is similar to the INFURTURE H1 active noise-canceling wireless over-ear headphones and the BERBIBES 202A wireless over-ear headphones in terms of outline and shape.
Its physical button controls, which are placed on the side of the right earcups, have an NC, dot LED light, type-C charging port, aux audio jack, volume up/down, and power on/off buttons, respectively. All control buttons are pretty hard to notice in areas even thought it have a little light because they are the same color as the body.
Once I’m wearing the headphones, they are very soft and comfortable, even through a long listening session. The ear padding is made of soft material; it is fantastically soft. There is no force to squeeze my ear at all. And I don’t feel any pain or discomfort around my ears, albeit after wearing it for 2–3 hours. The company says that the HT2 headphones use ultra-soft protein leather covering both earcups.
The earcups are adjustable in angle to fit listeners with different head shapes. This makes the Tozo HT2 ideal for listening to music, working from home, or watching movies in the living room.
For people who wear glasses, don’t worry about being uncomfortable. I wear glasses while working and listening to music with the Tozo HT2, and I have to say that is not uncomfortable at all. There is no squeeze force behind the ears or temples. No hurt or pain. Thanks to supremely soft earmuffs.
The middle of the headband is well-padded with soft material as well. This greatly reduces pressure on my head. Like other wireless over-ear headphones, the headband is designed to lenght-customize to fit all head sizes.
Although the earcups are padded with soft material, due to the thick padding, if you are wearing them for hours in a hot or warm place, they may cause warmth or a bit of sweat around the ears after that. However, I use them for three hours, and do not feel sweaty or a bit wet around the ears at all. It’s very good.
The design is foldable to a more compact size, but it is over-ear, and there is no carrying case or drawstring cloth bag included. I think the Tozo HT2 is not a good idea for taking on the go. It can, but you have to put it in its packaging (hard paper), which is quite large for your backpack or portable bag. If you are looking for headphones for portability, I recommend trying wireless earbuds like the Tozo Gloden X1 or Tozo NC9; both are easily portable and have great sound too.
The materials are mostly plastic, but it’s good plastic (I think). It looks durable and not fragile at all. The plastic feels strong and should be able to withstand impacts well to a certain extent.
When it comes to call quality, it’s not so good. I don’t why? I use Oppo Reno 5G smartphones, and Bluetooth 5.3 connects to the HT2. When I receive the call (via Line application), the conversation voices are clear but not continuous all the time. There are some times when the conversation sound is lost. I’m a little disappointed about the call quality. However, I will try to test it more and will provide readers with more information about call quality.
The company claims that the HT2 headphones provide up to 60 hours of playtime with ANC off and up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC on. I don’t know if it’s real. But after trying the headphones for a few hours, the battery had dropped to only 5–6 percent (with ANC on and off sometimes). However, I’m pretty confident the battery life is not less than, as the company said, surely.
One factor that is important to the battery life is the volume level you are listening to. So if you are always listening to music with max volume, the playtime you get may not reach the maximum, as the company said.
I can’t find the Bluetooth version, but I think it should be the latest Bluetooth version, 5.3. The Bluetooth signal is so stable. I walk around my home (around 240 square meters) while listening to music via YouTube (through my laptop, an Asus Vivobook S14 Flip). I can hear the music all the time while I walk. It has no hiccups or dropouts. There was no signal loss at all. The music is still playing even though I walk and have two or three walls blocking. That’s very good.
Besides their fast connection and signal stability, the Tozo HT2 hybrid ANC headphones can connect to two devices simultaneously.
Even though the Tozo HT2 is not the best wireless ANC headphones, It’s not the best-sounding over-ear headphones. But the headphones deliver amazing sound in this price range. The HT2 produces good sound and has a wide soundstage.
These affordable wireless ANC over-ear headphones provide good low-end sound. The bass is not lacking and is enough to let you enjoy rock, hip-hop, and bass-heavy music genres.
The mids and highs are also great. I think the sound quality is truly outstanding. The vocals are crisp, and I can hear every instrument’s sound.
The Tozo HT2 delivers adequate bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. The overall sound quality is well-balanced, with deep bass.
In addition, you can also choose the presetting EQs from the Tozo app for up to 16 sound modes, and you can customize the EQ sound profile and save it too.
These wireless over-ear headphones have sufficient noise isolation due to their design. In the Tozo app, you can select six types of active noise-cancellation modes. The noise-canceling ability is not so splendid, but not poor. The headphones are quite capable of blocking outside noise. But not all, unless you turn it up at a fairly loud level.
However, in my opinion, the Tozo HT2 is among the best wireless ANC headphones under $50 for now.
The Tozo HT2 supports the Tozo app. There are only three things that you can do in the app. The first is noise cancellation, the second is EQ modes and the last is updating firmware.
There are six types of active noise cancellation modes in the app that you can select. You can try and select the best modes for you. For me, modes that reduce wind noise are very good. I sit at the front of the fan, and once I choose “reduce wind” mode, the wind noise immediately disappears. I didn’t hear the slightest sound of the wind.
There are 16 types of EQ sound modes you can select in the app. Also, you can customize the sound profile in the graphic pattern easily. As well as recording it after the customized finish.
