I just test and write the Tribit StormBox portable speaker review for the last few weeks. The Tribit speaker is affordable and good quality, including the Tribit XSound Go portable speaker that I will recommend to you today. How about the features of this portable speaker? Tribit XSound Go Review – The Design

Compact design and measuring are 6.9″ x 2.3″ x 2.3″ and its weight is only 380 grams or 13.6 ounces. This portable speaker is available in black or blue finish. It has built-in 2 dynamic drivers (40mm) and a passive radiator that works together to produce good sound.

The control panel is placed on the top, these are actual buttons, not touch control systems. There are standard buttons on the top: power button, Bluetooth, multi-function button (play/pause/next/back/activate voice assistant/take a call or reject a call), volume up, and volume down respectively. How to control, I will talk about later, it is quite intuitive, and not complicated at all.

When flipping to the rear panel, there are USB-C and 3.5mm AUX input that is protected by snap-shut. The speaker is designed for laying flat on the floor or you can also hang the XSound Go speaker with the short lanyard that is tied to its back panel.

At the bottom panel, there is mini rubberized at all four edges, to prevent movement from vibrations from strong bass.

How to use control buttons?

Playback control

• play and pause – one press multifunction button
• Skip to the next track – double-press the multi-function button
• Back to the previous track – triple-press the multi-function button

Voice Assistant

• To activate voice assistance – press and hold (for a second) the multi-function button

Volume control

• Volume up – press + button to volume up one level (If you would like to loud the sound, press + several times
• Volume down – press – button to volume down one level (same as volume up press + several times to reduce the volume to several levels

Call control

• Take a call or hang up – one press the multi-function button
• Reject a call – press and hold (for a second) the multi-function button

Tribit XSound Go Bluetooth Speaker – Durable and Build Quality

The Tribit XSound Go is an IPX7 waterproof portable speaker. You can be listening to music in the rain or you can even submerge it, but not more than one meter. The speaker will still well work and not issue. However; if it is in the water, you can’t listen to music or use it. Because Bluetooth signals can’t transmit in the water. But don’t worry, it will work perfectly when it came out of the water.

So you can take the Tribit XSound Go while taking a bath or washing it off under a faucet as well. Furthermore, these affordable portable speakers also have solid construction, which protects against bumps and drops.

When you are looking for a portable speaker, the battery is one of the main factors you should think about. The Tribit XSound Go portable speaker is very impressive in terms of playtime for a small speaker. It provides up to 24 hours. However; it’s just like any other wireless device, the number of playtimes is vary on the volume level you use. So 24 hours is not always exact.

Tribit XSound Go Review – The Sound Quality

With a power of 16 watts, the Tribit XSound Go delivers quite loud for its small size especially play it on a small room. The overall sound is pretty natural. The bass is adequate thump, not too much. The mids are clear. The vocal is not muffled. The highs give complete detail without sound cracks. The soundstage is moderate level, not too wide and not too narrow, and the output of instrument sound can clearly distinguish.

The Tribit XSound Go portable Bluetooth speaker is better for use indoors than outdoors. Their volume is good and loud for in the room or closed space using. For outdoors, it’s a bit less impactful and the bass thump feels a little lost in the open-air environment. However; in the outdoors, you still can hear the sound of the Tribit XSound Go speaker clearly but you must adjust to the pretty loud volume.
