USB, Bluetooth, AUX, noise-reduction mode, universal compatible: Zoom, Skype, WebEx, etc.

The eMeet Luna is the latest wireless speakerphone on the market. It’s a very affordable wireless speakerphone with tons of features.

The eMeet Luna measures approximately the same size as a teacup saucer but is not thicker than a paperback book. It is lightweight at 235g. A slot for the Kensington lock allows it to be secured down in a conference room. The eMeet Luna is portable and powered by a rechargeable lithium battery. It takes approximately three to four hours to charge fully, and then it can last up to fifteen hours before it needs to be charged again. The included USB-C cable can also be used to power Luna.

eMeet Luna Review – Design

eMeet Luna Review

If you don’t understand what the eMeet Luna means, it’s not a phone. It’s more of a Bluetooth speaker than an actual phone. It is 4.72 inches long and has a hockey puck shape. The measures only 3/4 inches thick and is easy to transport. It only weighs 10.2 ounces. You can carry it in a backpack or laptop bag.

How About Construction?

The housing is made from ABS plastic. It is available in two colors, jet black or charcoal grey. The housing’s top is perforated with a grid containing round holes. Invisible microphones are located at the outer edge of the housing. The battery level is indicated by five rows of teal LED lights located near the speaker’s rear. They will blink one at a time as the battery drains. The soft rubbery buttons are located near the speaker’s “front.” They form a quarter-circle around their circumference. These buttons can be used to turn on or off the speaker, mute/unmute the microphones and adjust the volume. You can also use the phone button to answer or end calls and another control to establish a Bluetooth connection.

The housing house’s edges are gently curved. This eliminates sharp corners and gives it a modern appearance. The sides are mostly unadorned. Near the “back,” however, you’ll find a row with ports to make connections. You’ll find a USB Type C port, an out/link port, and a 3,5mm aux port from left to right. You can also attach a Kensington lock to the Luna to be safe when not in use.

Rubber footpads are placed around the perimeter of the bottom of the unit. These rubber foot pads prevent the team from sliding or slipping and protect your desk from scratches. The bottom has a small storage space. This is where you can store the USB dongle that is included with the kit. The kit also consists of an aux cable to connect your phone and a USB Type C charging cable—the 12-month warranty provided by eMeet covers the entire equipment.

Connectivity & Compatibility

The eMeet Luna Bluetooth Bluetooth Speakerphone connects with your devices via Bluetooth. This should work with most modern devices. Open the Bluetooth menu on the smartphone, tablet, or laptop and search for the Luna speakerphone. This assumes that your device is Bluetooth enabled.

Multiple connectivity Bluetooth Speakerphones - eMeet Luna

Bluetooth support is not available on some modern laptops. Maybe designers realized that laptop users don’t need a lot of peripherals. If you use one of these laptops, you still need to connect to your computer. The Bluetooth dongle can be found at the base. If you remove the Bluetooth dongle from its case and connect it to your computer, it will function as a Bluetooth Card. This is how you can click the eMeet on a laptop with native Bluetooth support. You can also use an auto cable. It is more glamorous than a wireless connection but isn’t as charming. Luna’s battery is not affected by this option.

However, it can put more strain on your smartphone or laptop’s battery. You can decide which factor you think is most important. Bluetooth mode is limited in battery life. Bluetooth mode can deliver 7-8 hours of battery life, but 3-4 hours is better. This depends on many factors, including volume. The aux cable can save your life if your battery gets low. If you want to cover more space, you can daisy chain 2 of the base Luna speakerphones together. eMeet has a cascading connector that can be used to connect two speakerphones’ Out/Link ports. This mode allows both speakerphones to work together as one unit. This will enable you to have more people in a meeting without gathering around your phone.

eMeet Luna Bluetooth Speaker Review – The Call Quality

eMeet Luna Speakerphone - Best Bluetooth Speakerphone under 100

The eMeet Luna has three peripheral and circular microphones. The microphone can pick up sound from any direction, so placement is no problem. There are no blind spots, so someone can’t get lost or disappear into the background. No matter what size chart you have, everyone can participate. This is a major improvement compared to many speakers that only pick up sound in one direction. One Luna phone will have better coverage than one equipped with a mono-directional microphone. Both sides are displaying high levels of clarity and call quality.

If the microphone quality is good, you can still hear the person in the background. These speakers sound fantastic and can be tuned to human voices. This will enable you to listen to people clearly, even in challenging listening conditions. In summary, the attendees on both sides could hear each other clearly and can get every word.

eMeet Luna Review – Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Excellent build quality
  • A wide range of connections
  • Incredible environmental noise cancellation
  • Excellent microphone quality
  • Good battery life

Cons

  • Just suitable for vocal tracks

Final Verdict

The eMeet Luna Bluetooth speakerphone has been rated as one of the top Bluetooth options. There are many options for connecting. Bluetooth can be connected to nearly all devices. Older devices may need a Bluetooth dongle. It is possible to connect using a simple aux cable. The daisy-chain cables can be used to connect to another Luna phone. This allows you to cover large areas. Two speakerphones will enable you to have up to 12 people use your phone. This is a realistic estimate.

The call quality is excellent. The EQ is not great for music, but it’s perfect for voice calls. We are most concerned about the battery life, which can sometimes be much shorter than we think. If your speakerphone requires maximum power, you can use an aux cable. It’s both beautiful and simple to use. This is the complete package.
