For cheap portable Bluetooth speakers, you do not need to buy some famous brands like Bose or Sony. Many new brands also come with good enough quality for listening to music and good durability with high-rating waterproofing. Even though OontZ, Tribit, or Doss. Some portable speakers can float in the water too, such as the INSMY C30, a wireless portable Bluetooth speaker that we will be reviewing for readers. The coolest thing is that the INSMY C30 has a loud sound and a good enough bass speaker at a pretty cheap price. But it’s not the best speaker. But many good points make me impressed by this price. INSMY C30 Review – The Design

First, once I touch and hold the INSMY C30 in the hand, it’s quite lightweight, and most overall materials are plastic. Just like cheap electronic gadgets, I think they can’t withstand harsh drops, and I’m sorry that I didn’t dare to test this. I was too afraid it would break and cause internal circuit damage as well.

The INSMY C30 portable Bluetooth speakers are available in fresh colors such as blue, pink, red, and purple, as well as standard colors like black. There is a strong hanging rope that lets you carry it easily. Besides, with their small size (7.3″ x 3″ x 2.4″, close to a small water bottle), you can keep them in a backpack or attached to your bicycle easily as well.

The control buttons are situated on the top, allowing you to play/pause music or answer a call, volume up (next track) or down (previous track), and TWS/Bluetooth pairing on the speaker. There is also a battery indicator with four LED dot lights in the center, slightly to the right of the top. On the other side, you will see one LED dot light that is a Bluetooth indicator light.

But one thing is that, unfortunately, there is no AUX port for playing music from non-Bluetooth devices.

The overall design is good, compact in size, and has convenient portability for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. Albeit listening to music while playing water in the pool, it can be done because the INSMY C30 is a fully waterproof speaker with an IPX7 rating.

INSMY C30 Portable Bluetooth Speaker – Battery Life

The INSMY C30 portable Bluetooth speaker comes with a 4400mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery and gives you around 22 to 25 hours at 50% of the max volume. This number is quite good. And I’m quite satisfied that I can listen to music for a few days before having to plug it in again. There are two charging methods: one is USB type C (4–5 hours for full charge), and another is AC power (6–8 hours for full charge).

Fully Waterproof and Good Dustproof with an IP67 Rating

With well-built and waterproof technology, an IP67 is rated the same as the Sowo Surgeboom II, another portable Bluetooth speaker. This rating means it can be immersed for up to 1 meter for 30 minutes underwater. So you can use them while playing with water in the pool. The INSMY C30 is a floatable waterproof Bluetooth speaker. Keep in mind that the sound that comes out may not be very loud if the C30 speaker floats on water. Hence, you can use it for any outdoor activity; it can withstand heavy rain and still survive. Oh! Besides, the INSMY C30 Bluetooth speaker can also listen to music while showering.

Easy and Strong connectivity with Bluetooth 5.0

Thanks to the internal advanced antenna design of the INSMY C30 speaker, the speaker utilizes Bluetooth 5.0 and provides up to 100 feet of unobstructed distance from connected Bluetooth devices. The connection is very good. I left my mobile phone in the living room and took the INSMY C30 to the kitchen. The signal is still good, and there is no hiccup in the signal.

INSMY C30 Review – The Sound Quality

Even though the C30 Bluetooth speaker comes with a 20-watt power output, the sound is loud enough for a small party, but the sound quality is not so good. Just moderate for small speakers. It’s great for general listening to music. You can’t hear clear details of the sound; the bass is good enough in this price range. The mids and highs are plain. However, this is a speaker under 50 USD, so one can’t expect great sound quality from a speaker in this price range. but it’s perfectly fine for general use and for its size. The overall sound quality is a good deal above average.

The INSMY C30 portable Bluetooth speaker is small and offers decent sound quality for its price. There are many great features, like IP67 waterproof and dustproof, floatable, 24 hours of battery life, Type C charging, and Bluetooth 5.0 for fast transmission as well as stable connection. All in all, in my opinion, if you’re not serious about the sound quality, which is not so good, just mediocre sound, the INSMY C3 is a good and cheap portable speaker worth buying.
