I believe many people also do not yet know about the Vanzon Bluetooth portable speaker. This is a new brand, but it has fast popularity and high ratings on Amazon. Just for a few months, it has almost 11000 reviews (at the time I’m writing).

The Bluetooth speaker has a triangular, cylindrical shape and is portable. With its compact design, it can stay firmly and securely in your hand and is the right size to fit in your hands. You can pack V40 into your backpack and take it on your trips.

There is a hanging buckle, which you use a rope for carrying, which is like a previous portable speaker that I reviewed, the Maitone Boombox portable Bluetooth speaker. However, it can’t be carried over the shoulder because it doesn’t have a carrying strap like the JBL Extreme 3 or Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus, but both are significantly more expensive than the Vanzon V40.

The control panel is placed on the vertical center of the speaker. There are power, mode, play/pause, and volume up/down buttons. You will see a rubber plate at the middle of the bottom side that covers all ports and connections. Inside this rubberized plate are the USB-C charging port, TF card slot (which supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, and APE formats), and 3.5 AUX audio port, respectively. There is a triangular, rhythmic RGB light at the end of both sides.

When it comes to waterproof rating, the V40 speaker is better than the ZEALOT S67, which is IPX6-rated, whereas the S67 is more expensive than the V40. So you don’t worry about water. The speaker can withstand rain or water, and it should protect against impacts that are not too strong. This design allows you to take it outdoors with peace of mind. Even though it comes with a shockproof design, I think if you drop it from a height, it may also cause the speaker to crack or be damaged. All electronic devices should be used carefully. This is a cheap Bluetooth portable speaker that comes with a good battery as well. The V40 speaker can last up to 24 hours, but not always exactly. All in all, depending on the main factor, volume level, I tried this Bluetooth speaker with 50% volume, and it was very good. It can provide around 24 hours, as the company claims. The number of hours is just an estimate because I can’t listen to music for 24 hours consecutively. I can’t listen to music for 24 hours continuously. Due to the work that I do and the fact that I still have to run many errands each day, it is not easy to listen to music all the time.

The Vanzon V40 portable speakers come with a 24-watt power output. It is not too loud, but it is loud enough for small rooms or small group parties. The bass is pretty good for a small portable speaker, and the treble is crystal clear as well. The vocals come through very clearly. The good thing is that the Vanzon V40 comes with the features of TWS (true wireless stereo) or three-party mode.

The sound output is as excellent or outstanding as other portable speakers in this price range. But the sound is good, and you can enjoy the music with good sound quality. If you have ever listened to music on your laptop and are okay with it, I ensure that you will love this Vanzon V40 portable speaker; the sound is better than most laptop sounds.

All in all, in terms of sound quality, the Vanzon V40 speaker is worth the money. You can’t compare these cheap portable speakers to higher-level bookshelf speakers like the Edifier R1280DB and R1700BT. Or even more expensive portable speakers like the Marshall Stanmore II or Marshall Woburn II, which are much better than the Vanzon V40 as well.
