eMeet is not a well-known company. But if you are a general user of teleconference-related electronic devices like speakerphones and webcams, you probably know the eMeet brand already.
I recently wrote about two eMeet product reviews: the eMeet Luna great speaker below $100 and the eMeet M2, which is a smart speakerphone under $200. Both are quite good in their price range. The next higher model of the eMeet speakerphone is the eMeet M2 Max. Surely, higher quality and performance lead to a higher price. How about this product? Is it good and worthwhile to buy one? Let’s go to the eMeet M2 Max review now.
The M2 Max is also a flat-sphere design like several speakerphones, such as the Jabra Speak 710 US and the previous model, the eMeet M2. The external design looks very similar to the M2 model. Control buttons are placed in the center of the circle. The middle of the inner circle is mute/unmute control. Next, the other control is placed around the inner circle:
The inner circumference LED light is used to show the status of the operation in various functions. This is unlike the eMeet M2, where the function LED indicators are located on the outermost edge of the speakerphone.
Like the eMeet Luna and M2, the M2 Max has more convenience by providing a Bluetooth dongle and its slot at the bottom of the unit. So this helps me keep it well and in good condition. Easy to find and reduce any chance of Bluetooth dongle loss or missing.
The eMeet’s engineer designed the M2 Max with 4 48kHz directional microphones (360°) and built-in voice AI algorithms. This technology lets you hear a crisp and clear voice during calls by working to reduce echo and background noise. Once turning on AI, speaking, the light is green, and the light is blue when turning AI is off. I feel that the sound of keyboard activity has significantly decreased. I had tested by pressing the keyboard that far from the speakerphone is only 1.5 feet. You can ensure that the M2 Max provides higher-fidelity voices than other speakerphones that don’t use this technology.
One M2 Max can cover 15 people for a business conference. Moreover, the M2 Max can use Daisy Chain features, which means you can support up to 20–25 attendees. And also in the conference room, you can hear louder voices. With a daisy chain, you can use two eMeet M2 Max speakerphones to connect to each other by using a daisy chain cable.
Note: Daisy chain cable is not included in the package, you need to make a separate purchase
The eMeet M2 Max provides a longer battery than the eMeet M2 for up to 4 hours. That means the M2 Max offers a talk time of up to 12 hours, while the M2 offers a talk time of only 8 hours.
The eMeet M2 Max provides wide compatibility. These Bluetooth speakerphones can be connected to PCs, laptops, and smartphones via Bluetooth. They also connect to these devices via a wireless USB dongle, a direct USB-C to USB-A cable connection, and AUX in/out 3.5mm cables.
Another useful feature of the M2 Max is the ability to connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. You can connect two Bluetooth devices at once. This is very convenient for meetings that require more than one connection device.
There are many benefits to purchasing eMeet M2 Max. I have summarized this information for easy understanding of why the M2 Max is the best speakerphone on the market.

Pros
Cons
At the end of the eMeet M2 Max review, this speakerphone comes at a pretty expensive, but the built quality and sound performance are very good, loud, and crystal clear. If you use eMeet M2 Max for home offices or meeting rooms in your company, I highly recommend it. If you are just looking for a speakerphone for home or private use and do not emphasize loudness, try to look over to Luna, which is another eMeet speakerphone as well.
