Jxrev J51 Review – Best Cheap Half-In-Ear Wireless Earbuds

Jxrev J51 Review – Short words

Jxrev J51 review: They are among the best cheap wireless semi-in-ear headphones. If you don’t mind about premium sound quality and need cheap wireless earbuds for listening to music while working and doing light activities at your place, the Jxrev J51 wireless earbuds are probably a good choice. They are small wireless earbuds with 32 hours of playtime, a built-in noise-canceling mic, an IPX7 waterproof rating, and a lightweight, easily portable design.

Jxrev J51 Wireless Earbuds

semi-in-ear, Bluetooth 5.3, true wireless earbuds, a built-in noise-canceling mic, IPX7 waterproof rating, playtime: 6 – 8 hours (single charge)/32 hours (with the charging case), charging type: USB-C, touch control

Jxrev J51 are good small wireless earbuds and pretty impressive for the price. Just around 20 to 30 USD, or maybe cheaper sometimes. They are super lightweight and portable. Just 3 grams for a single earbud. They are cheap and packed with good features like Bluetooth 5.3, Hifi Sound, IPX7 waterproofing, and a long-life battery of up to 32 hours (including its charging case). The Jxrev J51 cheap wireless earbuds are also quite popular on Amazon, and they get a pretty high rating too.

Jxrev J51 Review – The Design

Onto the design, the Jxrev J51, there is no outstanding. They are matte black, and the earbuds have a pretty long stalk. The Jxrev J51 is the smallest wireless earbud I’ve ever had. Their case size is very tiny and easily portable. The touch control area is placed on the back of the stalk. It’s very tiny and may not be convenient for those who have bulky fingers. The charging case is also not fantastic, and its looks and feel are plain. There is only a dot LED light for displaying changing status. But they are available in several colors (while I was writing this Jxrev J51 review): black, green, pink, purple, white, and dark blue.

They are a half-in-ear form factor, and there is no silicone tip. So it does not provide good noise isolation. With this design, the earbuds may not be a perfect fit for some ear shapes and may easily fall out. But the good thing is that you can hear the environmental sound while you are running in the public park or on the footbath.

Overall, the design is quite normal, like general wireless earbuds, such as Yobola T9 wireless earbuds.

Durable

They are affordable wireless earbuds and come with an IPX7 waterproof rating. That means you can wear them for working out, and they withstand sweat and rain. The main material is plastic and looks like it can’t withstand being dropped from a height.

In the short term, I tested the Jxrev J51 for 2 months; it’s so good and doesn’t have any issues even with intense exercise. But for the long term, only time will tell. Is it durable?

Stable Connection and Easy Pairing with Bluetooth 5.3

The J51 wireless earbuds utilized Bluetooth 5.3 technology, which delivers a stable and low-latency wireless connection. It is effortless pairing; just open the charging case, and the Jxrev J51 will automatically connect to your last connected mobile phone and pair with each other automatically. You can use either one at a time with no problems. The connection is quite stable, and there are no drops in connectivity. I’m never disconnected in the 10-meter range at all.

The Sound Quality

It’s as expected; there is no high-end sound quality. I don’t expect top-tier sound quality from these wireless earbuds at this price. If you are just looking for affordable wireless earbuds for listening to music or podcasts or need cheap wireless earbuds for listening to short movies from YouTube, the Jxrev J51 would be a good choice. There is no delay between the sound and the video. However, you can’t compare these affordable earbuds to others that are more expensive, like Status Between Pro or the Technics EAH-AZ40.

The Call Quality

A noise-canceling mic works well; it can block out some outside noise, even though it is not perfect. But I can still talk clearly to my friends. The person, on the other hand, never grouses about my voice being choppy while talking via the earbuds. But there is still some noise, like a baby crying or the sound of people talking next to me.

Jxrev J51 Review – Battery Life

The company claims that these smallest wireless earbuds provide up to 32 hours of playtime with the charging case and offer 6 to 8 hours for a single charge on earbuds. This number is not too much, but enough for all day listening to music. I’m not sure about the exact battery life for real experience. I never set out to seriously prove it. But I am quite impressed in terms of playtime; for over a week, I haven’t plugged in my charging case. After that, the earbuds will indicate “low battery” if you wear them while the battery is low.

Jxrev J51 Review – Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Cheap wireless earbuds
  • Good water resistant, IPX7 level
  • Bluetooth 5.3 provides a strong and stable connection
  • Ultra-light earbuds, just only 3g

Cons

  • The touch feature is not ideal for those who have big fingers
  • Semi-in-ear design so it may not be good for running, intensive exercise, or sports that require a lot of physical
  • movement because it comes off easily out
  • The sound quality is just enough for general listening to music or podcasts.
