VIPEX Active Noise Cancelling Headphones Review

VIPEX ANC Headphones Review – Short Words

After the VIPEX headphones review, in the end, I found VIPEX headphone has a reasonable ratio between feature and price. If you don’t expect much from sound quality at this price tag, these VIPEX headphones are for you if you like deep bass. With ANC, they’re fine enough to utilize it wherever you need it. In case you don’t want to spend lots of money purchasing them.

VIPEX headphones are a budget ANC model with a great wireless range but average sound quality. They are decent for most users but tend to sound a bit dark and muffled. On the upside, they have a moderately comfortable build, decent battery life, and block a decent amount of sound for computing. After the VIPEX headphones review, I found it a decent option. Let’s surf in the details.

VIPEX Headphones Review – Design

At first glance, the VIPEX headphones, just like their predecessor, seem bulky and larger than other usual models altogether. Compared to other ANC headphones in a similar category, the VIPEX headphones feel heavy, though they are solid at a similar time.

The headphones’ earpads give the VIPEX a bulky look, which on the other side are comfortable to wear due to their leatherette material. They also swivel ninety degrees and can be kept flat on the surface. The headband looks solid and flexible, with its complete length covered with faux leather material.

On the contrary, VIPEX headphones’ plastic build quality might budge some users and might make it feel a bit cheap. Nevertheless, the VIPEX headphone’s heftiness makes up for the penny-pinching construction.

The issue with most over-ear models is the clamping pressure that happens on the temples of our head and is existent on VIPEX headphones when you wear them for more than half an hour. I would still recommend flexing the headband quite some times before using it.

Comfort

What I notice when primarily wearing these is how comfy they’re. While some have described the clamping pressure is a bit tight, I’d disagree. There is enough to keep headsets from sliding off your head, they sit strongly around your ears, but they are not putting any immense pressure against your head either.

And thick ear pads to work great and offer a fine comfy listening experience. After about 45 minutes of wearing these over-ear headphones or so, the challenge is, you will start to make a hot space on the peak of the head. And I believe this is due to the bigger ear cups and the way the weight is distributed.

This is the thing that’ll affect every person differently, but if you are somebody like myself who’s prone to discomfort below the peak of the headband, that is something to consider if you play on wearing these full days.

Control

The button layout for the VIPEX headphone feels a little cramped but delivers great feedback. They’ve responsive and clickable buttons for call/music, volume control, and skipping tracks. They also have a dedicated switch to allow ANC and Bluetooth.

Though, the cramped layout and the abnormal placement of volume keys are not intuitive and might take some time to get utilized.

Sound

You will notice the sound performance has enhanced noticeably compared to the other models. The most significant difference is that VIPEX headphone sounds less tinny, and music sounds more balanced overall. So you do not have some frequencies largely overpowering other frequencies.

You also get a wide responsive VIPEX headphone because it now has 40mm drivers. So as an outcome, you do get a fuller and deeper sound compared to the other opponents. Particularly, one of the most noticeable differences in the lows is that the bass quality is less Boomy.

The mids are still a weak point of the VIPEX headphones. However slightly improved from all other models, vocals as an instance can sound a tad withdrawn and veiled. Compared to other noise-canceling headphones under 50, mid-range performances are still adequate.

Battery Life and Charging

The VIPEX headphones maybe have less battery-life than Anker SoundCore Life Q20. But the VIPEX headphones claim to have a battery of 30hrs. In my experience, it was closer to 23-25hrs. But this is still extremely impressive considering these Bluetooth 5.0 headphones have 40mm, sound drivers, to power.

Technology wide, these VIPEX headphones use NFC and Bluetooth 5.0, which is the biggest advantage over all other opponents. It makes VIPEX headphones highly upside with their smooth and seamless connectivity. On the charging side, you can enjoy 2 hours of music with a 5-6 minute charge, which is very impressive.
