1. Sennheiser HD 660 S Review – Best Sennheiser Headphones for Affordable Audiophile
These open-back audiophile headphones of Sennheiser are probably one of the best affordable high-end headphones. I pick the Sennheiser HD 660 S as the first of the best Sennheiser headphones, why? I have short words for the HD 660 S that is “exceptional sound and supreme comfort”. The details of the answer can find in the Sennheiser HD 660 S review.
Design and Comfort
The looks are very similar previous model, HD 650. There are a few changes in the color, The HD650 has a tone of black and silver, while the HD 660 S has a finished black. And they look a little more simple design but would be better for those who like the black headphones style.
These are open-back designs with a thorough perforate grille on the back of earcups. So, you can see the driver inside the grille on the back of each earcup.
hypothesis on open-back headphones that is it doesn’t block sound and the sound from the headphones can flow outside. The Sennheiser HD 660 S so is it. So, if you use these headphones while talking to your friend, you will find that the friends’ sound is as loud as the music playing. This is a major weakness of the open-back headsets. Hence; if you do not like the sound leak or you are someone who likes most privately while listening to music, these cans are not a great option for you.
There are a number of true high-end headphones that use the open-back style, due to it encourages a great and wide sound stage. The grille is also reducing and ventilates the heat around your ears.
They are supremely comfortable and do not feel any ears pain even though listen to music for a hours. These open-back headphones hug your head with decent and reasonable force, thanks to the thick padding on the velour-covered cups. Besides, there is soft padding under the headband that offers a soft and comfortable on your head too.
When it comes to built quality, the Sennheiser HD 660 S uses quality plastic and is durable. These Sennheiser headphones are built to last and are convenient with their cups and cables are replaceable.
Sennheiser HD 660 S Review – Sound Quality
The Sennheiser HD 660 S provides everything that is so good in terms of sound quality. They come with a very great soundstage and are also wide. Especially the spatial image is a superb stereo soundstage. The HD 660 S delivers sounds like you are listening to a band in front of you and the accuracy of all instruments is placed in the right position. These may give a new experience for you.
The highs are very detailed and crisp, also there is no signal of the harshness at the end of high. The mids are so good balanced. The bass is very strong and deep but is not bloated or exaggerated.
All in all, the audio quality is very crystal clear and can hear everything even the most subtle details in music or movies. Even at the ultra-low volumes, the HD 60 S sti6ll offers very good sound quality same as the high volumes level without losing clarity at all.
These Sennheiser headphones are moderately easy to drive but a good and strong headphones amp is pretty much essential if you want the best sound quality from the HD 660 S.

2. EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 Review – Best Sennhieser Gaming Headsets
If you are a gamer, You probably know or are familiar with EPOS gaming headsets. Sennheiser has been working with EPOS to develop gaming headsets for years. And there are many models that have been released in the market such as EPOS I Sennheiser Game ZERO, EPOS I Sennheiser Game ONE, and EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 600 – GSP 601. And this is an EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 Gaming headset that we are talking about in this article. Try to read the EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 review, then consider that the GSP 602 is one of the best Sennheiser headphones for gaming?
EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 Review – The design and built quality
The looks-hardy-strong comes with a brown earpad with memory form padding to reduce the force clamping on both temple areas. The earpads and cover plates are designed to be replaceable. Moreover; the earcups come with sport-thick leatherette-covered padding with a mesh layer that lets your ear not be too warm and doesn’t stick to your skin to increase comfort for a long gaming session. The headband is also adjustable with a tension slider to fit different head sizes and shapes.
The EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 is a plastic frame that is rather big and bulky with a metal joint that is somewhat sturdy. The boom mic is so standard and plain.
These gaming headsets are wired connectivity via 3.5mm to your gaming console or PC. The overall construct is plastic but still feels quite strong and durable enough. I accidentally dropped it from the table and was so shocked, but once I picked it up and looked carefully, it was nothing broken. Oh, really rigid.
These EPOS gaming headsets offer very comfortable for long gaming sessions. I wear these for playing a game for hours and do not feel any pain or fatigue around my ears. The headband is easy to slide, and you can easy to adjust the size to fit your head. So the GSP 602 should not be an issue for those who have a big or small head. Besides, you can mute the mic by just flipping the attached boom mic.
How is the sound quality of the EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 offers?
The sound is pretty standard for playing games, not very good and not too bad. However; these gaming headphones offer high-accuracy audio output. Even though these gaming headsets don’t have an equalizer, they offer a satisfying soundstage and are very great. It’s a balance between trebles and mids-range They also offer a bass boost but are not overwhelming. The GSP 602 gives the deep bass so good and won’t disappoint.
Playing Games With the EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602
I can feel where footsteps coming from which direction and can tell exactly where they are. While playing a game I could tell the position and direction of the game character, and also rather precision. The EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 would become a great tool in most FPS games. Nevertheless, the accuracy of sound and location relies on the quality of the sound card on your desktop or laptop too. So, the accuracy will be dropping if use a standard computer sound board. And if you would like to get more accuracy and exceptional audio realism from a particular game, you need to look for a sound card that is better than the standard.
Boom Microphone
Unfortunately, the boom microphones are undetectable at this price point. But the good thing is the GSP 602’s microphone has built-in noise-canceling and offers the sound is clean and clear from my testing. All in all, the EPOS I Sennheiser GSP 602 is a good option for gaming or Zoom meeting. You should choose other dedicated USB mics if you are planning on recording regularly.

3. Sennheiser IE 800 S Review – Sennheiser’s Most Expensive Earphones
It’s rather rare to find high-end in-ear headphones in the market currently, but there are a few items. Apart from the HifiMAN RE2000 and Shure SE864, another is one of the high-end in-ear headphones also Senhhieser’flagship, the Sennheiser EI 800 S. These in-ear headphones are one of the best Sennheiser headphones in in-ear headphones. Elegant design and highly premium material offer the best sound that’s why I choose these best in-ear headphones from Sennheiser for reviews.
OK, I admit that don’t buy this one, it’s very expensive. However; I used to touch and listen to music from IE 800 S from the shop in the city that was rather far from my home. After that, I decided to search for info about Sennheiser IE 800 S to offer their true information about these best in-ear Sennheiser headphones.
Sennheiser IE 800 S Review – The Design
The earbuds’ housing uses ceramic material, which looks very luxurious and very solid. Even though they use ceramic but their surface is not glossy, These most expensive Sennheiser in-ear headphones are a matte finish instead. So, there are no more fingerprints pasted on the buds that make you bother. The ceramic housing makes these Sennheiser in-ear headphones are very highly durable and lightweight. The earbuds’ housing is very slim like they disappear in the ear but they offer long-term comfort that is hard to beat.
The IE 800 S is an incredible tiny earpiece (7mm driver) and is formed in a perfectly ergonomic design. They provide 3 pairs of silicone adapters (S/M/L) to perfectly seal your ear seamlessly. They can excellently isolate you from your environment noise.
The cable on the IE 800 S is more soft and compliant than the predecessors (Sennheiser IE 800). They are also thicker and more durable than too. There are 3 cables included in the package, 2.5mm, 3.5mm, and 4.4mm, which can take the advantage of balanced sources. However; as before the previous models, the cable that is sticking to the earpieces is a 2.5mm connector and undetachable. But don’t worry, the design of the cable lets you can attach various extensions that fit different sources of your music, due to there is a y-splitter joint. Even though the fixed cable is undetachable, the sound is still kept superb.
Best Sennheiser Headphones – IE 800 S -The sound quality
When these in-ear Sennheiser headphones stay in my ears, the feeling is very comfortable. Then the music starts, these are the best isolation in-ear headphones that I’ve heard before. Apart from that aesthetic design, they also deliver great-sounding that make you feel fall into the music world too.
The bass is very deep and powerful. The bass is so heavy that it feels like you’re wearing full-size headphones. The mids deliver a full balanced sound. The vocals are very so clear. Even the breathing rhythm is still complete and also can still hear clearly. The Sennheiser IE 800 S still offers great treble and is likewise crystal clear. The end of the sound is can go very far and not crack.
When talking about soundstage, they give spacious and sound dimensions give entwine feeling both in width and depth.
In Amazon’s review, one purchaser recommends that should use the IE 800 S with a dedicated DAC/amp combo or a hi-res audio player. Some suggest the Surfans F20 HiFi MP3 Player.

Cons

Final Thought
At the end of the Sennheiser IE 800 S review, I would like to say that should not buy these if the money is still necessary to buy other things. They are very pricey and also the most expensive in-ear headphones. Even though they are reproducing excellent sound quality and crystal clear sound. Likewise, the premium material for built quality and great isolation noise. That all depends on you, buy or not.

4. Sennheiser CX Plus Review – True Wireless Earbuds
The next of best Sennheiser headphones are truly wireless earbuds style, Sennheiser CX Plus true wireless. Although these wireless earbuds can’t beat the IE800 S in terms of sound quality, the price is so different. The IE800 S has several hundred dollars but the CX plus comes for less than 200 dollars. They are the beefed-up of versions of the Sennheiser CX True wireless. The main difference is the CX plus comes with cool features like active noise cancellation but the CX true wireless is passive noise cancellation. And Sony WF-1000XM3 also has this feature too. What are the good things and not good things about these true wireless earbuds? Let’s go to dig into the Sennheiser CX Plus review.
Sennheiser CX Plus Review- The Design
The case’s design is very similar to other Sennheiser models such as Sennheiser CX 400BT or Sennheiser CX true wireless. The charging case body is matte black or matte white (available in 2 colors) and has beautiful look. The buds are a little quite big and bulky, but lightweight and enough secure fit in the ear. Sennheiser prepared ear adapters in four sizes to choose the perfect fit in the ears and fit for any activities. Choosing the perfect right tip is so necessary because they are no sort of hooks or fins to make earbuds stay stable in the ears.
The overall material is plastic but doesn’t feel cheap. The is enough solid to place in the luggage or backpack. The earbuds are easy to place in the case’s slot with magnets and are steady when they stay in their slot.
If you would like to work out with the CX plus, yes you can but should not do hardy exercises. Even though the Sennheiser CX plus has an IPX4 rating of water-resistant. That means they can resist sweat and splashes of water. You can wear these to work out, but not for some exercise that hard movements your head including running too. Because vigorous exercise makes earbuds move gradually and fall out, at last.
Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless Earbuds – The Audio Performance
These Sennheiser wireless earbuds have built-in EQ, so you tweak the sound signature to be sound your preferences. And also a bass boost preset that offer you more low end. Plus with active noise-canceling and transparent hearing featured that you choose the level of blocking noise till to awareness of external sounds. The sound quality is quite good in Sennheiser’s style. If you like the sound signature of the CX true wireless, I think will love these too.
Features and Convenience
Besides, the active noise cancellation, transparent mode, built-in EQ, and the Sennheiser CX Plus also provides touch control, which can customizable. This feature lets you choose a way to control the calls, audio, and voice assistant. One feature that I am so satisfied, the automatic pause which Sennheiser calls “Smart Pause”. The music pause when you remove the earbuds from your ears.
These best Sennheiser wireless earbuds are compatible with the latest Bluetooth (V5.2). So, they support SBC, AAC, aptX HD, aptX LL (for hi-res audio), aptX Bluetooth codecs.
The playtime is not too less too. The CX Plus true wireless from Sennheiser provides nearly 9 hours for a single charge and another 2 full charge times from a charging case. To sum up, these wireless earbuds offer playtime of up to 24 hours which is long enough and I am pleased.
One thing I feel should be fixed. These headphones should be used for strenuous exercise as well, which means They must be able to withstand quite a lot of sweat. In other words, their IPX rating should be greater than 4.

5. Sennheiser HD Pro Audio 650 Review – Best Affordable Audiophile Sennheiser Headphones
The Sennheiser HD 650 is much popular in affordable audiophiles headphones. They are crafted for audiophiles and professional music lovers. At their main target offer the great sound quality above at all. Let s check how about their built and the sound quality in the Sennheiser HD 650 review.
Sennheiser Pro Audio HD 650 Review with the Design
The overall body design of the HD 650 is similar to the previous models like HD 600 or HD 560 S. And also similar to the next-gen such as HD 660 S, which are very great headphones and the most popular Sennheiser headphones. The oval-shaped giant earcups that diameter are almost 11.5 cm at their longest point.
The outside of both earcups is a metal grill that can see the driver construct inside. These are open-back designs and offer a wide soundstage and also let increase the sound efficiency.
The overall design is focused on simple as Sennheiser’s style and is ideal for professional headphones. Black tone and without too many flashy colors.
Sennheiser Pro Audio HD 650 Review – Most Comfortable Audiophile Headphones
Comfortable is one of the most significant factors for audiophile headphones. Generally, users spend hours working with audiophile headphones for the best mix and recorder or monitor the track. So the headphones should provide a good degree of comfort. I found that the Sennheiser HD 650 are the most comfortable studio headphones at this price range. And also more comfortable than some that are more expensive too.
Thanks to the open design and metal grill on the back of earcups, help to good ventilate. And the giant earcups bring breathable space around your ears the other ways. These lest you will not get warmed your ears during extended listening sessions.
The earpads are padded with very soft material and do not make hurt your ears. However; thick padding maybe makes some warm and can block the ventilating too. Generally, most over-ear headphones have earpads like this style. So how comfortable does that depend on personal feelings and preference too?
Professional Audiophile Headphones – Superior Sound Quality
The sound quality is the strong point of the HD 650. They produce an astonishing balanced sound, excellent vibrant and clear. The HD 650 gives nice deep bass and a clear punch presence, not too loud. The vocals and all instruments like guitar, drums, horn, cymbals, and strings are great well balanced, and crystal clear.
These Sennheiser headphones deliver beauty and clarity of sound. You will hear every sound from musicians and background sources, which may not have heard before with other lower-quality headphones.
However; how the sound is very excellent depending on the source recording. Some poorly CD or low-quality recordings would have to be flawed. So, the Sennheiser HD 650 will deliver great sound, or not, the source is one of the vital factors too. Besides, these Sennheisers’ affordable audiophile headphones will not perform at full efficiency when they use low-power sources such as PC, laptops, cell phones, or any low-power amplifiers.
Pre-amp or headphones amplifiers are necessary for obtaining maximum sound performance. You should have a good quality stereo pre-amp or stereo amplifier to power these Sennheiser headphones. The better the high-quality headphones amplifier, the better these headphones’ sound quality as well.
Sennheiser HD 650 has many advantages, however, they are not entirely perfect, as it also has some drawbacks. It is important to know these good things and deficiencies, as they will help you make the right decisions.
