In the past few days, I just got a new pair of wireless ANC headphones, which makes me very surprised about the quality and sound performance of these wireless ANC headphones under 150 dollars (sometimes the price might be down under 130 dollars). This price is not too high and not quite affordable, but it offers a very strong battery life. I’m talking about Cleer Enduro ANC headphones. I personally think it is one of the best noise-canceling headphones under $150. Are you beginning to want to know how good these headphones are? The Cleer Audio Enduro ANC headphones are available in two colors: light gray and dark navy. Both are so beautiful; in private, I like light gray, which looks even more stylish. Most materials are plastic, but they are not fragile. The Cleer Enduro ANC headphones are still strong and durable for long-term use. The overall design is plain but looks elegant.

The earcups are flexible; they can rotate to be flat. So they can hook around the neck and lay flat on your chest too.

The earcups’ exterior is adorned with a gold aluminum ring. It looks nice and luxurious. There is a “cleer” logo in the middle of the exterior on both. Like the ALPHA model, the earcups of the Enduro ANC are padded with soft material and comfy your ears for a long session. The soft earpads and 40mm driver give good sound isolation. These wireless headphones are extremely comfortable to wear.

And also, surely, like the other over-ear headphones, the headband can adjust the length to fit your head sizes.

They do not come with touch control buttons; the Cleer Enduro ANC headphones use physical buttons for their functions. All buttons are located on the left earcups and can control volume up/down, music playback, answer/end call, voice assistant, noise cancellation, and ambient sound modes. The physical buttons may not be as modern as the touch control, but they are always reliable and give the right response every time.

Besides, you can also control all functionality via the Clear+ app on your smartphone. The app can adjust the levels of ANC and EQ.

Bluetooth Connectivity

The Cleer Enduro ANC headphones come with Bluetooth 5.0 technology and can support many codes like AAC, SBC, and aptX adaptive. The Bluetooth connects very fast and supports multi-point connection, which makes the Enduro ANC superior to other wireless ANC headphones in this price range. The signal is strong and stable. They provide the experience with a wireless range of up to 15 meters. That is pretty good.

This feature is a strong point. These wireless ANC headphones offer up to 60 hours of playtime once charged. But I will not say that this is true. Because I’m not exactly testing how long the playtime is. Just a rough observation: they provide long playtime without recharge for at least 14 days. I spend four or five hours a day listening to music with headphones.

Besides, these best wireless headphones under $150 also have a fast charge feature. You can get about 3 hours for just charging 10 minutes.

It is most difficult to describe how well the Cleer Enduro ANC headphones deliver sound quality. I’m not a musician, and I don’t understand some terminology involving sound. However, I will best try to describe the Cleer Enduro ANC’s sound quality.

At first, the low-end and treble sounds are somewhat flat. It sounds plain, and nothing pleases. Drums and bass sounds from rock or hip-hop genres are not attractive. However, after downloading the Cleer+ app and pairing it to my mobile, I’m able to customize the equalizer setting. It must be admitted that the app can offer a very different experience. The bass is reasonably deep and has a hefty impact. There is no muddied on the low end. Also, there is no cracking at the high frequencies. The mids are crisp and clear. So I noticeably enjoy listening to music more.

The soundstage is standard, not too wide, and not too narrow. It makes it feel like the sound of the instruments is clearly separated and not too close together.

Overall, in terms of sound quality, it can’t beat the ALPHA model. But they provide balance and decent sound quality for their price.

Active Noise Cancellation and Ambient Sound Mode

As I mentioned before, you can adapt the level of the ANC via the Cleer+ app. However, the active noise-canceling is not so good. I can still hear some noise, but it has decreased. It can’t compare with leading ANC headphones like the Sony WH-1000XM5 or Bowers & Wilkins PX8. But they work well for their price. The ambient sound mode works well; I can hear the sound around me once I turn on the ambient mode.
