Doss SoundBox Touch review: One of the cheap wireless Bluetooth speaker and the sound quality is better than its price. The sleek, simple, attractive, and compact design so it is easy to take go on. Thanks to IPX5 water-resistant that don’t worry about splash.
Doss SoundBox Touch – Portable Bluetooth Speaker
wireless, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR, 2 x 6W superior HD sound, enhanced bass sounding, waterproof IPX5, playtime of up to 20 hours, sensitive touch control, handsfree, built-in mic, connectivity: line-in cable/micro SD card (not provided)
First of all, I prefer the price of the Doss SoundBox Touch that affordable, just less than $40. But sometimes the seller drops the price by more than 25%. The decision for some customers is to choose the price to be the judge of the quality. But Doss SoundBox Touch is not, they are cheap, nice design, and good built quality. They also come with sound quality is quite good over the price tags and built-in Bluetooth.
Short definition for this affordable wireless speaker, high-end look, convenience, and portability. The four sides of the speaker are covered with an aluminum grill that makes it looks sturdy. Although all side of the speaker is encased with the grill, the sound doesn’t driver from all sides.
Doss Touch is designed for intuitive touch control and pretty design with LED which looks amazing. Easy increase or decrease of the level of the volume you just sliding on the top-ring of the speaker. Just turn as clockwise to increase the volume and turn opposite to decrease. The touch control panel is placed on the top of the speaker which allows you easily to play, pause, skip next, or skip back the music whit your fingertips. Including you can get incoming calls too. With the super compact size of the Doss Touch speaker, you can easy to carry it in the backpack.
The cheap wireless speaker comes with one thing that I like, they have 20 hours of playtime (50% of volume) due to a 2200 mAh rechargeable battery. Full charge around 3 – 4 hours with micro USB cable in the package.
Bluetooth pairing is so easy, first of all, you must sure your devices are not away more than 33 feet from the Doss Touch speaker. After you pair your device for the first time, next time it will automatically reconnect to them when you turn it on. Other connectivities, the speaker from this model of Doss also has a micro SD and AUX input which allow the speaker to have more versatility.
Very surprise for a speaker at this price tag which produces quite sound quality exceeds expectation. 12-watts of power with the sound quality is pretty good and deep bass response. We found that the mid sound is crisp and clear with sounded smooth as well as natural. The total harmonic distortion less than 1% even you adjust to the highest volume. For me the price cheaper than $30 with a good sound quality like Doss SoundBox Touch which feels that it very worth

Something Positive
Something Negative
If you looking for a cheap wireless Bluetooth speaker and portability, the Doss SoundBox Touch is an interesting one option. They have long playtime for up to 20 hours. One thing that is the strength of the Doss speaker is affordable and the sound performance is quite well. The bass is soft deep and the mid sound is natural. The high is not distortion. The sound quality is better than several brands in this price range. When it comes to design is a rectangular shape with perfect curves and nice touch control a the top. Not big size, easy to portable. Keep in mind that, the Doss SoundBox Touch speaker is not waterproof, just an IPX4 waterproof rating, so be careful rain for use outdoor.
