Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 review: It’s very soft and comfortable headphones. the BackBeat Pro 2 is wireless active noise-canceling headphones. These headsets deliver rich immersive audio whether you listen to music to watch movies. Good sound quality, which allows you to enjoy high notes (crisp sound), mid-tones (natural sounds), and deep powerful bass that delivers low notes with minimal distortion.

Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 review

Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2

Active noise canceling, wireless, good sound quality & comfortable, 24 hours of playtime, smart sensor, built-in mic, Bluetooth 4.0, connect 2 devices at the same time & easily switch between both, Bluetooth 4.0 class 1 (work range up to 10 meters)

The 2nd generation Plantronics wireless noise-canceling backbeat headphones show a product maturing – fixing some mistakes made earlier while providing the best quality that holds up finely to the competition. To check how these wireless headphones are good? I will take you to the Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 review.

Best headphones under $150, the Plantronics wireless noise-canceling backbeat Pro 2 is placed as the best headphone for less. The actual one was, too – and it was a fine headset for the money, despite being pretty odd and not that wonderful.

Nevertheless, it has a solid flowing among techie sorts who care more about how headphones performed than how it designed.

How is the Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2’s Design?

Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 review

The design is quite different from Bose QuietComfort 35 ii or Sony WH-1000XM4. The QC35 ii and WH-1000XM4 are looking simple and solid. But the Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 does not look simple and stylish design.

There is a wood grain accent on the back of the earcups with the LPT brand name, this makes it look strange and eye-catching. On the left earcup is the location for control playback, volume, and switch for ANC. The power & pairing including call control is placed on the right earcup.

How to control the volume? The Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 has no volume up and down button but you can control the volume via a textured ring. Turn up the volume by rotating the counter-clockwise, on the contrary turn down the volume by rotating them clockwise. Easy and smart design.

Comfortable? The material is good quality plastic, and at the core, there is a strengthening metal covered with faux leather. The Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 is padding with soft leather around the earcups as well as on the headband. These designs make the headphones very soft and comfortable. However; if you are a person who sweats a lot and is in a warm environment, these wireless noise-canceling headphones may be great for you. However; I have no issues with wearing these wireless headphones for a couple of hours.

Plantronics BackBeat Pro ii Review –  Clean, Clear, and Airy

Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 review

The BackBeat Pro ii is significantly lighter than its predecessor, plus it’s significantly better to wear and sound quality than its previous model. As for the sound quality, in my short words, the BackBeat Pro 2 offers full of clarity, is clean and feels airy. They also deliver a well-balanced sound and the continuation of the rhythms and notes is quite smooth. If you wear and listen to music, you will surely fall in love with these wireless headphones below $150.

The mid: the first feeling once I wore the BackBeat Pro 2, the vocals and music are very smooth and feeling be a natural sound.

The highs & bass: deliver good detail and are complete. The bass is not too deep and strong, The Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2’s bass score is moderate level. The soundstage is average wide and provides a sound that is airy and comfortable.

wireless noise-canceling backbeat – Great Value for the Money

Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 Wireless NC Headphones

With the new model, the Plantronics wireless noise-canceling backbeat has slimmed the product down by about 35%, decreased its weight by 16 percent, and made it a lot more attractive. It also sounds extremely fine for a wireless headset, with relatively clean, well-balanced, dynamic sound that rivals the quality of its high-notch-priced competitors. And it performed almost flawlessly for me, with minimal wireless hiccups.

It is comfortable too and has sensors that resume and pause your song when you take the headphones off or put them on (you can also reply to calls by simply placing them on your ears).

And while the noise canceling is not as efficient as that of the Bose noise-canceling 700, it does a fine job muffling ambient noise without making an audible hiss.
