All in all, with many features and a cheap price, makes sense to say that BT-BH204 is the best budget-friendly earbuds. These wireless in-ear headphones are very portable and decent for mixed usage. They come with a bass-heavy sound profile but lack a companion app, AND, and also no customization options.

There’ve tons of truly wireless earbuds out on the market now. Recently I’ve seen a jump of on that directly matching the style of Apple Air Pods. BOLTUNE is one of those brands that jumped on the Air Pod mimic bandwagon. They released a model that I was sent to test. Without wasting time let’s jump into the Boltune BT-BH024 review.

Boltune BT-BH024 Review – Design and features

Like its previous model, BT- BH023, the BT- BH024 has an Air Pod style shape. Though, they have a bit more flashy look, with grey accents on the black appearance. They sit very deeply in your ear canals, offering a smooth and secure fit with plenty of noise isolation.

As with the previous model, this needs the right set of ear tips, so switch among the 3 sets and see which one is the finest fit for you. The back part of the earbuds features smooth touch controls on the grey back panel.

You can lower and raise the volume, pause and play music, answer and end calls and skip tracks. Just like its previous variants BT- BH024 earbuds also have IPX8 water protection ratings. If you wish to wear a pair of buds while you are swimming, knock yourself out. You are not going to find complete water protection better than this variant.

The BT- BH024 charging case is slightly bigger, at 2.95” wide, 1.54” deep, and 1.14” thick. Regardless, it is still very much pocket-friendly and simple to transport. It also has rounded and soft edges for comfort. The shell is unusual, in its place of a plastic finish, it has a unique grey cloth finish.

This makes BT- BH024 even softer and more comfortable to carry, but hard to clean. There is one LED on the front side, which allows you to know when the earbuds are actively charging.

The BT- BH024 buds sport a strong QCC3026 chip, and they also support the APTX codec. This allows for amazingly low latency, making them perfect for watching films. The EQ is widely more balanced than EQ on the earlier models and their opponents such as Enacfire E60.

Rather than a solid bass emphasis, you get equal emphasis across the board. This is not perfect for a dance track. But it is best when you are listening to other genres such as classic or country music. The sound quality is wide and nice. There is plenty of separation among different vocals and instruments.

So all in all, you are still looking at a strong audiophile-worthy pair of earbuds.

Call Quality – CVC 8.0 Noise Cancellation

For hands-free phone calling, this model use CVC 8.0 ANC. This does not block out background noise from what you are hearing instead, it filters background sound from your voice, so all other people can hear you more neatly.

If you are looking for earbuds or earphones for hands-free calling, you are looking at the fine performance. When it comes to your ear on your speaker, it is going to depend on the other user’s mic. But given their end is clear, and you will hear them just fine.

Cons

  • The charging case of BT- BH024 is a little too bulky.

After a detailed Boltune BT-BH024 review, I found a decent choice, on the other hand, is made for a more all-purpose app. The sound performance is wide and nice, but the flat EQ allows for proper enjoyment of different genres. Besides, the capability to pair one bud at a time allows for greater hand-free performance. Combine that with CVC 8.0 ANC feature, and you have got a supreme earbud for calls.
